You should, however, be able to use Joy2Key or a similar program to map your joystick to keyboard keys.

I only use MSN (PM or e-mail me if you want it - I don't want to make it public here), but if you don't want to use that, I've no problem with arranging a specific time for the trading via mail or PMs. As far as I can tell, you're 6 hours behind me (UTC-4 -> UTC+2, assuming you observe DST as well),...

Remind me to get a Slowpoke for each one of you. :p For the record, groups only work locally. I believe it's got something to do with the game being able to synchronize certain events between people, so you don't gain anything when you're on your own. As for Puzzle Quest, I've heard it's very addict...

I've been working hard on Pokémon - I beat the Elite 4 in Diamond a week or two ago, and I just captured Palkia in Pearl. Pearl Friend Code is 4210 0703 4330 - since I always play through one version as a boy, and the other as a girl, I called this one Mia (after Mia Fey). I also bought Elite Beat ...

Of course it's nothing compared to the thousands of people that are employed by the giants (EA, Sega, etc.) - but many of those really big companies aren't just "simple" stand-alone developer studios like Valve. When we're only dealing with developer studios, 100 people is pretty big - in ...

104 employees, while not all that big, isn't really that small for a game studio - Hudson is a big company, but they only have about 500 employees. If you're looking for a small group, that'd be Introversion Software, known for Uplink and Darwinia. They only have 10 people, but they have 3 games out...

It's most likely due to disk space concerns. Floppies are (were) expensive compared to how much data they can hold, and by using 4-bit colors, you've halved the amount of disk space required for an image - more so if you add some sort of compression, such as RLE. As for EGA, it did actually have the...

There's a microphone built into the DS, remember? You just talk, and it'll pick it up ;) When you connect to a friend over WFC in the Pokémon Center basement, you can activate voice chat before choosing between battle and trading, and it's always on while you're doing one of those things. As for Fr...

I've not really had much time to play them yet, so all I've done so far is get all three starters on both my games (through a series of restarted games) and get the Journal. I haven't even seen Jubilife City yet. XD My "true" starter is Turtwig, but that's mainly due to habit - I've always...

LSL6 had the score counter literally break when you hit 1000, and LSL7 had an easter egg where finding all of the points was one of the prerequisites that had to be met. I can't recall any other Sierra games that did anything out of the ordinary with max points as a criteria (though I remember that ...

If you have a DS, you might want to consider Phoenix Wright and the sequel Justice for All. Given that it claims that the symbol table is full, it should be completely unrelated to the amount of lines or commands. The problem would seem to be that AGS uses a single symbol table for the entire script, and this table is then filled up. To get around it, you'd have to decrease the number of v...

If you don't want to spend any money, you can use the free program ntfsresize to change the existing partition by downloading it to a floppy disk and running it via a LiveCD. In the 2-3 years I've been running Windows XP, I've never had to reinstall at all - that is, not until now, where what seemed to be a semi-small glitch has ended up making my system completely unusable. It all started a little over a week ago - Microsoft released the Danish version of IE7. Turns out...

Broomie, sorry to hear you'll have to wait so long. I know some stores didn't get very many Wiis (one of the EB Games stores here in Denmark only got 5), so that's probably what happened at yours.

Not to be argumentative (I obviously was not involved in the development), but in an interview with the Coles regarding the disasterous bugs in QG4, the blame was put squarely on the new engine, and the rush to release the game before christmas (they even had to leave out certain art such as the fl...

I've been told there will only be white Wiis at launch.

It's even been said that there won't be any other colors AT ALL, although you will still be able to get differently colored Wiimotes (I can't remember what will be available at launch, though). I'm not 100% sure if that's true, though.

Though they DID indeed say that it would not be more than $249, it's important to also realize you're not just getting the console here, but a game as well. 1st party Wii games will cost $49.99 according to the US conference yesterday, so in the end, it ends up being only a single cent above their s...

The rumor about a March release CANNOT be true. If it were, Nintendo would have given us warning before the conference tomorrow (or not held it at all), since it would be SUICIDE if they went on stage and announced that it won't be out until March, despite the fact that they have always said the who...

If they didn't modify the Windows engines, it will not be possible to use anything but the DOS versions. Not only do virtually all of them REQUIRE 256 colors, but KQ5 ALSO requires 640x480 as well. SQ6 is the only exception to the 256 color rule, although it does exhibit strange colors at certain po...
