QFG1 VGA ending
Okay, I just replayed through my old copy of QFG1 VGA in order to get an export ready for QFG2 VGA. Unfortunately, when I "beat" the game and end up in the baron's throne room with all the programmers, the game just sits there. How do I get to where I export my character? I know I've done ...

Yes, exactly. Although, I'm telling you, it's not based on luck at all. It's based on your current amount of dinars. And I'm also telling you that there is no way you can ever get to 15,000 dinars... Agreed. I played for about 40 minutes and decided that I was *not* having any fun at all. If I find...

QFG2VGA music
So, perhaps I missed this, but who's working on the music for the remake? I was just browsing through Quest Studios, and I realized I'd love to hear what's happening with the remake's music. Perhaps this could be an idea for the next webpage news update...

I know it's not a standard 2D Sierra-style adventure game, but Myst IV is a blast. My wife and I have been playing through it together (she really only likes to play adventure games). It corrects a lot of the things that made previous Myst games somewhat difficult (including a built-in hint system)....

Yeah, but think about this: My wife and I just bought into a cellular plan two days ago, and we ended up with some pretty fancy phones for next to nothing. They both have color screens that are higher-resolution than a GBA. I've been really thinking about this thread now that I have a phone that cou...

That's the hard thing about the situation. The twisting, winding streets were annoying to navigate at first, but they honestly gave the city of Shapier a sense of size. The Coles wanted to make it clear that this was no alpine Germanic village; this was a sprawling desert metropolis. And Thepal's ri...

QFG2VGA Alleys
So, the updated FAQ says that the alleys in Shapier won't scroll like they did in the old EGA version. Any particular reason? I know that the layout of the city is receiving an overhaul for the sake of simplicity, but the scolling feature added size and depth to the city (unlike Spielburg's tiny str...

Re: NEW TIERRA FANSITE: Tierra Game Central
Hate to be the stick-in-the-mud, but accessing a page and instantly getting four pop-ups is enough for me to close the page and never go back. Didn't even have a chance to see the content: the pop-ups ruined it for me.

Perhaps I should use Opera instead of IE. Shame to switch browsers just to...

Re: QFG2: Communication Poll
I disagree: the point-and-click system used in Ultima 7 part 1 and 2 worked just fine, without giving too much away. Yes, it "limited" options, but since the game had tens of thousands of lines of dialogue, it actually streamlined gameplay and made the plot more accessible and enjoyable. <...
