Re: How about TODAY's NEWS about new game King's Quest 6?
Not to sound lazy, but is there some sort of template that I should use? I ask because I want the message to be clear to them. What sort of guidelines should be used? I don't think the approach would be, "Hey Activision, make AGDI your official Adventures guys." So some tips would be most...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
Wow, I remember Alone in the Dark! That was a really fun game. Anyway, I hate the idea that 2D is obsolete or that 3D necessarily means superior gameplay options. It's just not always necessary. Why can't we have variety? Also, why are some people opposed to 2D right off the bat? Is it because they ...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
The main way I've seen 3D being an important asset to the Telltale games is that it makes them more cinematic with all the changing camera angles. Besides Heavy Rain, what other adventure games in 3D were better games because of their being in 3D? I'm not trying to make any point here by asking... I...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
It's a shame that Telltale couldn't just do their dinky little KQ episodes or whatever they think people want, while letting AGDI do proper, full, grand new KQ adventure games. I don't know about the details of all the rights ownership issues, and I think I remember someone earlier posting that Tell...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
It should have gone to AGDI. That is a no brainer. AGDI has proven themselves time and again. They understand how to make amazing, truly epic adventures and are in touch with what many fans of these games want. I want AGDI/Himalaya to have (and believe they will have) a massive hit with one of their...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
Pepsi selling toothpaste is a good analogy. Based on the Dave Grossman quote posted earlier, though, to me it sounds worse than that. It’s somewhat like an anti-American person charged with organizing a US Independence Day parade celebration. Put another way, it’s like a decidedly non-fan of a p...

Maybe you guys are still working on stuff, but how come we can't see "active topics" anymore? When I click on "active topics," it doesn't show threads with recent posts like it used to. Am I doing something wrong? I used to like viewing active topics only. Sorry if this is a stup...

Re: Telltale to Reboot King's Quest
I agree totally with MI and aozgolo's concerns. I don't want only light, little "accessible" sitcom-like games with a few straightforward few puzzles thrown in. I prefer the lengthy, epic adventure stuff with fun, quirky and creative puzzles! I like the death! :o Well, you know what I mean...

Movie Galaxy Quest like Space Quest?
I saw Galaxy Quest in the theater when it first came out. I thought it was great! In case you haven't heard of the movie, it's an action adventure comedy that's also a spoof of Star Trek fandom. Anyway, I saw some of it again recently, and I remembered how back when the movie first came out it remin...

Also, are you going to update the forum thread link on your KQ3 teaser page? When I click on it, it goes to a "page not found" page.

Wow, that green color scheme is very cool looking. White or light color font on dark background seems a lot easier to read than dark grey on light grey.

Re: Heroes and Villains
I love this!! Just added to my ipod. Great to play while running! I can't decide which of the two I like better... it's so cool how they mixed in the "pirate song" with the MI theme in the first one... and I also love how in the second one they worked the PC internal speaker sounds into th...

Re: The Silver Lining Episode 3 releasing on Feb. 17th!
Wow, looks like this might come out RIGHT before AGDI's King's Quest III Redux. February seems like a popular time for KQ-related "#3" games.
The trailer looks awesome! Very cinematic.

Re: A few Questions about this remake ?
So did I lol. Hehe, yeah... I was thinking of a hybrid between the two. I guess Rosella's blonde hair made me think of Olivia Newton John, but, instead, I would imagine Rosella and Alexander singing, "royal dreams ripped at the seams." 8)) Well, I'm very curious to learn more about what's...

Re: A few Questions about this remake ?
There might be a few badly sung notes in-game, if that helps? :p Lol slick. Hmm. I don't understand what this means! I don't remember any singing in KQ3. Maybe there is a scene at the start with Valanice singing to the baby? Or is this another one of AGD2's sneaky, carefully-worded answers?? Or may...

Looks awesome! Is this book only going to cover a certain time period of Sierra games? Is it going to cover the EGA games, as well as the ones with the hand-painted backgrounds?

Is there going to be an original song anywhere in the game? Maybe in the credits? Like in KQ6?

Re: Canadians, Speak Out to Stop Internet Metering!
Wow, that really sucks! Who is the CRTC, and why are they able to force independent ISP's to lower their caps, even if those smaller ISP's are using space on those large companies' networks? The ONLY group who benefits here is the small handful of big companies. Very bad for competition. Who is the ...

Re: A brief account of KQ3 Redux' history
I loved the other KQ3 remake from a few years ago and that team did a great job, but having AGDI, with its unrivaled, legendary standard for quality, produce their own version of this classic, now that is just guaranteed to be amazing. You are so right!! I was actually sad thinking about how this w...

Re: A brief account of KQ3 Redux' history
Awesome!! I feel the release date getting closer. :D One question, though... why choose that background picture to represent KQ3 on the Games page? It's a gorgeous background painting, no doubt, but a picture of an empty, winding dirt path doesn't exactly scream excitement. That beach scene I saw po...

Re: What makes a game replayable?
In addition to everything that has been said, I think that, more generally (and as obvious as it probably sounds to say), high quality adventure games with timeless humor and clever, witty dialogue, puzzles and story situations will always be more replayable. Look at Monkey Island, DOTT, etc. They d...

Re: Article about the history of Adventure Games
I doesn't mention AGDI or Himalaya Studios either. Boo! Agreed 100%! I'm personally appalled by that outrageous display of journalistic negligence. The only option now is to unleash a legion of AGDI superfans to take over their comment section and set them straight! ;) Seriously, though, I think in...

AGDI Designer Journals
I remember how you guys used to have designer journals on your website where you talked about your trips together and shared behind-the-scenes game info and pictures. Will that feature ever come back? For a while now on your site it has said that they're going to be posted in the future. Or, with KQ...
