I know that but SQ II gives a funny response when you try to kiss the dead guards.

Okay those worked, but "click man" doesn't work.

BTW:
Has any one tried "Kiss man."? It's too bad the game doesn't have a funny response for "Lick man."

Here's a beaut, try licking the dead body of the guard in SQ2....
Are you talking about some remake of SQ2? My SQ2's parser doesn't even recognize the word lick...

As far as I know:
1 Kolyma is the name of a country in Sierra's King's Quest II and AGDI's Kings Quest II VGA.
2 There is a river which is called Kolyma in Eastern Siberia, as far I understand there are a few other places including a mountain range with the word Kolyma in the name there.

The best one? The best looking and funniest of them would be Space Quest 5. I didn't mind in the least that it was a Star Trek parody, (In fact if anything it made it easier to get the references in the jokes for me.) Space Quest 3 is also a nice Space Quest game. It was the first Space Quest and on...

The hardest? Well I found Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist to be quite hard. But the hardest? I don't really know. Space Quest 4 wasn't very easy either.

I liked both series a lot for different reasons. Although I do like it when a game offers a lot freedom in what you can and can't do. Quest for Glory is lot more flexible when it comes to what you can and can't do. But then again Quest for Glory is part RPG and part adventure... King Quest is advent...

Of all the games listed I only know the Keen and Doom games. I voted for Keen because it is more fun in the long run (even though I kind of liked shooting monsters in Doom, it got a bit dull after playing through 30 or so levels.)

I think I had a similar problem, the stone like all other inventory items should have a red spot on it somewhere, try clicking that spot instead of the stone on the skull. Hope that helps.

I see that several people have replied talking about the death messages but no one has commented on the music that is played with the death messages... Any (perhaps dull) messages with nice music?

Mixed up fairy tales is the biggest kiddie game. If you guys liked those games you should try a real game like Kings Quest, Quest for Glory, Space Quest....
I already played almost all of those, that is why I tried those edutainment titles I mentioned... (BTW: I never played Mixed up Fairy Tales)

As long as it doesn't have too much impact on the peformance I would say: the higher the resolution, the better, so I voted for 640 x 400.

Didn't someone once say that Roberta just loves maps / mazes? Did she tell the Coles to do this? I think I read somewhere that the alleys in QFG2 are some sort of copy protection. I think the idea was that you had to use a map in the manual to reach the money changer and to go back again before you...
