Re: QFG Artwork

Yes you will! And there's lots more to see including original background artwork from the art staff and an interesting look at the new battle system.

Keep watching the teaser thread in the general forum all week.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer the poster for sale due to licensing restrictions. It is only being offered as a giveaway. :(

Re: QFG Artwork

I don't think I've met anyone else who toured Sierra back in the day so I do feel very lucky.

The artwork sitting on the tables was just mind-blowing.

Rules? Hmm.. I'm not sure. I haven't completed that page just yet. ;)

Re: QFG Artwork

My dad drove us down from Yosemite and surprised my sister and I with the Sierra tour. I was car sick and remember waking up with the Sierra logo staring me in the face from outside the car. I've told this story numerous times.... long story short - I was miraculously of car sickness for the next tw...

Re: QFG Artwork

This is really fantastic stuff. I especially love the antwerp and your own take on Kenn Nishiuye's original cover art. Wasn't that piece fantastic? You know, back in the day when I toured Sierra's Oakhurst facility, I saw that very original airbrush art for the Hero's Quest box on his drawing table....

Re: *** The Official Teaser Countdown Begins ***

Quest for Glory II has always held a very special place in my heart. I feel extremely blessed to have been asked to contribute. When Chris (AGD2) asked me to create the website, I think I about choked on my veggie burger... especially since, unlike Al Emmo, I played no role in the development of the...

also very good! What a cool idea - AGI graphics have that certain charm don't they? Crispin's house is a good one. It really does look like the screen just popped out of an old Sierra AGI King's Quest game. ;)

You know.. these are really works of art. Really really beautifully done. You are drawing these from scratch? I'm impressed. Totally. My personal requests - screens from King's Quest 5 or an SCI game like Conquests of Camelot! (I know this wasn't VGA but it would be cool to see one of the Camelot sc...

Re: The QFG2VGA Manual

Erpy and NavyNuke are awesome too, but in different ways.  For example, neither is a beautiful babe.  But hey, we can't have everything! Having met both in person I can say they are certainly gaming HUNKS OF GOODNESS! And the fact that they're so talented and dedicated makes them even more sooopa s...

totally agree. Syberia, along with most of the releases today, aren't as much inventory and classic-puzzle type games.

Syberia 1 & 2 were snorefests as far as I'm concerned. Ugh. Poor, slooooow gameplay. I never really felt like I was playing a really great adventure game. Both of them just never captured me. The graphics and atmosphere were very beautiful, however. The Longest Journey, on the other hand, was sp...

The best solution here is to take preorders. No question about it. I have no doubt that "Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine" will sell more than a thousand copies simply due to the connection between AGDI and the successful remakes. It's all about marketing. ;)

I would pay well up to $100 if it was a brand new Sierra adventure game. Duh.
