Re: -

You don't have to worry about Track names or song lengths. I'll take care of that on the inside back cover. And the inside front cover will be Tierra information and game promotion. I'm currently in the process of putting together a page that lists all the music numbers, song titles, track numbers, ...

Re: kq coll.
As with all the games since KQ2 AGI, I've been a die-hard Sierra collector. All the original releases, with all those neat in-box items. I've also collected the Sierra Newsletter/Magazine/Interaction periodicals since day one. I sent a lot of the old issues of these newsletters to a Quest Studio...

Re: NEW KING'S QUEST II SOUNDTRACK PAGE

Ooohhh...a design by Brandon is in the works? -- The 3D Wizard, himself! I can't wait! After the phenominal job you did on the 3D cutscene, I know I won't be disappointed!

Re: NEW KING'S QUEST II SOUNDTRACK PAGE

To anyone who is interested in helping with ideas for the Soundtrack CD designs... PLEASE DON'T EMAIL US asking for original graphic images from the game. The original graphics were designed to display best at 320x200, and are for the most part, 75 dpi images. Screen captures will provide the same r...

Re: NEW KING'S QUEST II SOUNDTRACK PAGE

Thanks for letting me know about my name spelling error. I've corrected it. David Henry sent me those Antara MP3's, and I didn't have the game...so I didn't question it. I'll have to update that. Strange that nobody's ever noticed it before...or maybe, just didn't bother telling me about it. The CD ...

YOUR POSTS ARE BEING READ!

As you may well imagine, this is a VERY busy time for AGD2 and Tierra's technical team. In the past few days, the Tierra message boards have sprung to life with hundreds of praises, questions, and... BUG REPORTS! If you've posted a problem in this Forum about a bug in the game, rest assured, we've s...

Re: A minor KQ2 movement bug
Cat, I had that same problem during a beta test. I've not encountered it since, though -- and it's a pretty easy work-a-round. Leaving the scene, then going back from another direction seemed to clear it up.

Re: HELP ME!!!

Boy, this guy really nailed me! And here I thought I was fooling everyone by going to work 9-10 hours each day, moving 600 miles away from my parents, and hoping to get on my PC for at least a few minutes everyday! Damn, can't pull the wool over this guy's eyes. Guess my little "pretend" l...

Re: Installing KQVGA1
I've had similar errors with that file, kernel32.dll, though not with the installation of KQ1. Two things I would recommend (keeping in mind that I'm not a Windows expert): reinstall kernel32.dll from the Windows CD-ROM. Then, reinstall KQ1 and run the Setup program again.

Re: MIDI PROBLEMS

This kind of error is typically caused by an interupt or DMA conflict. Be sure no other music-related programs are running on your system that may be using your sound card's resources. Are other devices, such as a scanner or video card using one or more of the same resources as your music card? Many...

Re: Trouble Initializing

Wow, Angie...this is great! Imagine, just like in the Sierra games of old, the AGD's have managed to produce that infamous Sierra message, "Unable to initialize your audio hardware!" In case you didn't know, this is probably the most common problem involving Sierra games and MIDI soundtrac...
