I only played the demo which had Silmaria. Anway I have the full game running in XP using the XP patch and Hardware Acceleration turned off. However, the sound is heavily stuttered, and neither turning off Sound Acceleration, changing the sound card to virtual Roland, or turning on compatibility mod...

I don't recall needing anything to get out of Silmaria. The demo simply wouldn't let you go out either gate, or use the teleporter.

We know that The Father is after the Crown of Daventry, this is confirmed during the three trials. Who actually is (besides in the Black Cloak) is unknown, but I like to think that he is Shadrack, as well as the leader of the Black Cloak.

I don't remember if the Katta of Silmaria had long tails, but I think they did.

In QfG2's intro, he wears the outfit he had in the original QfG1, but this is then changed into his QfG2 outfit.  He then then wears that same outfit throughout the entire game, up to and including the ending sequence.
