I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes" as regards the other, Sierra-made QFGs, so I assume you're asking about QFG2VGA?

I don't know the answer there, but since you can do it in the original I would assume you'll be able to do it in the remake.

Gotta agree with Erpy, that first one doesn't make much sense. :/ Second one made me chuckle though. :) Please explain that joke to me, I fear I'm one of those millions who failed to get it  :( It's a pun. "Kid" is a term for a young goat (an infant, that might still be drinking milk rathe...

As Katta Master says, it's all down to bug hunting now. I believe the current phase, in which bugs already known to the team from their own internal testing are eliminated, as technically called alpha. If I remember the plan correctly, beta testing, in which select people from the public will get to...

Deus Ex also has multiple endings, but that game's a bit far afield from QFG. :) As far as QFG-like games go though, I can't really think of any. If you like hybrid adventure/combat games, you might try a space exploration/warfare game called The Ur-Quan Masters (it's freeware now, too!) but it's qu...

As AGD2 says, buy Al Emmo if you want to support the devs.

That way you get something for your money, too. I certainly had a lot more fun with it than with the doorstop I could have bought instead. ;)

19, born in Texas, going to college in Massachusetts.

First QFG I played was the VGA remake of the first, on loan from a friend. Didn't take me too long to realize I was going to buy the collection. :) (Ah, the days when it was available new from a store, and not on eBay for $100...)

Yeah, Planescape: Torment features this question quite prominently. (And, so far as I've played, manages to sneak away without ever defining a "correct" answer. :) As it should.) Good game, I'd recommend it... Anyway, as for what can change the nature of a man... I agree that nature is a l...

BTW, if your QFG4CD is like mine it does have the English DOS version on it, you just can't install it from the windows installer. (Which doesn't work anymore for me on my newest comp anyway...) I believe there is a DOS install prog for it on the root directory of the anthology CD. I can't remember ...

The possibility of versions actually modified to work on modern computers does sound exciting. If this really is what's happening, I hope they do this for the QFG Collection too.

There's a book in the library, I think during either the last or second-to-last time you can visit, that explains about an old ruler of Daventry called Legenimor, or something like that, who was a very powerful wizard. I can't remember much of the story, you'll have to go find the book for yourself....

Nope, haven't seen the trailer.

I've seen the previous three on video. While I watched those all the way through, I have a feeling I might turn off movie #4 in disgust of how cut up it is. The previous movies already chopped off more than I liked.

[spoiler]I'd imagine pretty much anybody who didn't either get themselves locked in Azkaban for standing by their dead Dark Lord, or didn't come to his ressurection when he made the dark marks do their stuff, was on some sort of Voldy bleep list. However, Snape re-upped with Voldy soon after his Res...

[spoiler]Yeah, I figured that was RAB. Who else has those initials? BTW, has RAB been mentioned in any previous books? I don't recall it, but it's been a while since I read any of the others. And yeah, what I was getting at with that question was whether Snape killing Dumbledore was planned. Or perh...

Have you seen http://ufo.myexp.de/ ? Not a straight remake of UFO Defense but it is a squad TBS a lot like X-COM. They already have some battlescape demos done.

The last one isn't totally avoidable. You can not give her claws and beards and stuff like that, but you need to give her a fair number of components to make the dispel potion.

There were later remakes of X-Wing and TIE Fighter for Win95, with updated graphics. I have those versions; TIE Fighter is probably one of the best space combat sims I've played. :) X-Wing Alliance was made in the early 2000s IIRC. It's pretty good too. Make sure to get the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade p...
