VU making a offical sequel? We want that? VU has 0% experiance with adventure games. All the Sierra guys got laid off, so theres no point in VU making a badly made KQ/QFG/SQ. But I guess even if its bad, we all want to see more.  :cry

QFG5? That was when Sierra was actually a company and could make their own choices, they are dead now. Back then Sierra pushed the idea VU (If VU was in the picture), but now there is no sierra.

I'm using the NRS patches, and the're ment to fix all the bugs & allow you to play the games on XP perfectly, but when I am having my 6th or so dream about in Erana garden the game bombs out. Strange.

Just leave them alone to do what they do best. No point telling them what & when to do anything, like an update because its not up to you. Or anyone else. Its up to the creators. If you're so impatient just leave & come back later when they released the game, not point making posts like 'We ...

alright, got it to work - thanks! i'm enjoying the game, but, i'm not thinking of it as a "King's Quest" game.  because, if i do that, then i start getting ticked off at Sierra and want to light fires.  okay, not really on the latter.  but yeah. The fun starts after the realm of the dead.

I had this bug, horrid thing. I cant remeber how I worked around it, I think I used the patch.

-Instal the game properly with a few tweaks at the properties to get the install to work.

-Get the New Rising Suns's patches & replace the old files.

-Run the qfg4.bat file

-Use VDM sound if you have music problems

-If you need screenshots run it on DosBox

-I have set the game to work at 256 colour
-I have set the game to work on Windows 95

KQ8 got mixed reviews. A lot like QFG5, and other games... So you can't really say ''Yeah thats a crap gmae, dont play it!'' But its all down to how people see it / play it.

A Pokemon fan does it for me.  :p
