Hmm, seeing as you refer to it as "the" carrot, does that mean in the UK there's some sort of tradition involving consuming half a mince pie, half a glass of milk, and half "the" carrot? In any case though, Merry Christmas evryone! I suppose for some of you, I'm actually posting ...

I mean, sure, if you type in "f*** tree" or "kill chair" or something like that in a Space Quest or Quest for Glory game you MIGHT get a joke if the programmer thought to add that in there. Most of the time all you'll get is "I don't understand the word "f***" or ...

Basically for the options that couldn't be done with a point and click interface.  When you only have 3 icons to interact with the environment, there arent nearly as many jokes you can include in a game....

I saw that light turn on right when I first tried a cube game in the Wii, I thought the light also turned on when cube games were in. I was actually a little dissapointed when it turned out just to be a message. lol In other news, the beta version of the Wii internet browser (Opera) should be availa...

Have you tried using VDMSound or DosBox? Well, it's the windows version, so it won't run in Dos (or DosBox). A quick google of VDMSound appears to list it as sound support for dos games, but I'll try it anyway... Thanks for your help! Edit: Well, I tried that, but when I tried to run it with VDMSou...

Yes. "Closed beta testing" doesn't mean no forum visitors can be involved. It simply means we don't throw a beta version of the game out to the public and say: "Here's the game. Let us know about all the bugs you come across." When beta testing starts, we'll announce we're looki...

I finally got me a Wii preorder! I went to Toys R Us on Saturday afternoon, where there were already 8 people in line for PS3 preorders. No one else came to wait for the Wii until the next morning, but by the time I woke up (and looked outside of the tent I was in), it must have been over 30 people ...

I don't know whether stores have begun taking preorders for Wii & PS3 yet in Europe, but if not, it'd be advisable to keep a close eye on that info. For those of you who haven't already noticed, it seems that preorders have become the new launch dates, thanks largely to XBox 360 shortages last y...

they have always said the whole world will get it this year. Nintendo said it was aiming for a global release, yes. Unfortunately, it has also gone on record stating that the Wii would cost less than $249, and has now revealed that it will cost $250. It has said that Wii and Gamecube versions of Tw...
