Re: Gaming's Science Fiction Heroes (Swedish Magazine Artwork)

Actually, in Metroid Fusion she takes more off than just her helmet. The better you play the game, the more undressed she becomes, I remember. example of ingame ending; http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/metroid/images/thumb/2/27/Metroid_fusion_end.jpg/200px-Metroid_fusion_end.jpg http://farbroratlas...

Re: Gaming's Science Fiction Heroes (Swedish Magazine Artwork)

I would have preferred the classic mysterious version of Samus instead of the bimbo, but oh, well.

Re: Happy Birthday Erpy!

Actually, the kind of pancakes they serve at the pancake restaurant nearby are so chockfull of calories most people can only eat one. In fact, after finishing my apple-pineapple-sugar-whipped cream pancake, I had to eat a piece of the cheese-salami-olive pancake my sister couldn't finish anymore as...

Re:  Random rants go here.

That is a very effective attribution; this way Juliet won't have to think "I'm lazy", instead, she can think "it was the drinks", or in any case, it was the circumstances, not her person responsible for doing nothing. The question starts with 'Why the hell would she feel guilty a...

Re:  Random rants go here.

There are some general rules for perceiving and making estimations about your own body. For example, the thinner you are, the more likely you are to overestimate your own body masses; this isn't necessary clinical, thin people are just generally overestimating their body. The thinner you are, the mo...

Re:  Random rants go here.

Littlebit of interesting social psychology is going here. Scientific research shows first impressions have a more lasting effect than people suspect. On appearances two unexpected psychological effects are interesting here; Mere exposure effect; the more you're exposed to forms you don't like, the m...

Re: Happy Birthday Erpy!

Thanks guys. Yeah, my two sisters have been tossing jabs about the age-thing the whole evening. My birthday today happened to collide with Father's Day, so I invited a handful of people to my place in the afternoon and around 6, my dad, sisters and partners and I spent the evening having dinner at ...

Re: Buying Roland MT-32 Sound Module

It sounds like I'll be in Sierra Viewer a lot the coming months, to compare all these things. Since I now have two MIDI-USB cables anyway I'll have to look for a more permanent setup for easy switching between the the MT-32 and the SC-55. By the way, I love it how the MT-32 hardcase design looks way...

Re: Desktop Icons for Classic Adven Games? Best DOSBox Frontend?

Most of those icons Spikey has came with the various Quest Collections that Sierra used to sell. The only advantage to using frontends is to make it easier. I personally like to do all the work myself and personalize everything, er...personally without the need for an extra program. Actually, I mad...

Edit: OH NOES the cable I bought (X-midi tab 1x1) can't handle SysEx for the Roland MT-32it seems. Dammit. It seems t...
