nah... I'll figure it out eventually. I've been working on a KQ4 Project for about a year and a half now. The only reason why I say that is that i'm one of the oldest members that still visit regularly, and I've finished several game projects on my own, and I'd at least like to think i've built up a...

I think that's why i am switching to using ags or another game engine for the project. My reasoning has always been if you CAN do it yourself, do it yourself. Unfortunately in this point of time I CAN'T. Not because I don't have the skill, but I simply have so little time to work on the project that...

Yeah... I still visit. ...and I'm still working on the project. Although, I'm beginning to toy with the idea that I'm not going to use my custom engine for the project. I still am developing it, but I can't draw out the development time for 5 years working on the engine. I'll probably just use the e...

No offense, but it pisses me off when people say Luke, I am your father. THAT IS NOT HOW IT GOES Here is the correct dialogue (more or less, it's been a few hours), "Obi-wan never told you what happened to your father." "He told me enough! He told me you killed him." "No, I ...

Even though it hasn't sunken much, I'll bump this thread.

Maybe I should post at an artists forum or something.

With double the resolution, your animations will need MUCH MUCH more detail. I don't even think double the frames would be enough. I think it's actually a proven fact. Since your eye sees more detail in the sprites, it looks akward to have the same # of frames as a lower resolution game. At the very...

And I can't draw AT ALL! MuzlakOofmay, why are you writing your own engine instead of using AGS? I've been programming for ten years. At this point, is is definately within my capabilities to develop my own engine. In the end, my engine probably won't be much different from AGS, but the point is th...

I believe he's busy on another project? KQ2.5? Plus, I'm not really looking for anyone to conform to any style at this point. The backgrounds I have done are in need of enough alteration that if his/her style differs much from my own, it won't really add extra work, if that makes sense.

A call for artist for a serious project.

Hello, everyone. As many of you know, I am in charge of the KQ4 remake project by Sponge Factory. I've been dead set on doing the entire project myself, however, I think if this project is going to be finished anytime soon, I'll need an artist. Qualifications: -Able to produce Sierra style backgroun...

What resolution is this for? It looks like your image is 4x the size of the original sprite image of the burgomeister.

Aww thanks, blackthorne! The project is going pretty well. I wasn't able to do any work on the engine for a month or two cause I was working with a new copy of visual studio .net 2005 which I got from microsoft, and a long story short, I wasn't able to really work on it for a while. I've done a lot ...

Try reseatting the heatsink. You really don't want your CPU to go above 50C so that's a little scary to hear. Do you have your computer up against a wall or in a closed space? Try putting it somewhere where it can breath. Also, try getting some more thermall paste or cleaning the heatsink of dust. I...

Hello everyone, Let me first state that I'm posting this as an informative message and not for any personal benefit. Has anybody heard of the website freeiPods.com? Normally, I don't fall for internet deals like these, but from what I've read, this actually works . Basically, this is how it works. Y...

I have now worked two years for Chateau Retirement Communities LLC as of August 5. It's a rags to riches story, going from a humble waiter to a software development engineer. Actually, in December it'll have been a year in the software development position. I don't think I'll leave for a few more ye...
