Greetings, sorry about my late response.  Have you gotten the game to run with the game packs yet?  Also, how did you run the game?  Did you use the "Play King's Quest VGA" option or did you use the "King's Quest 1 Launcher"?  If you try the launcher you may be able to get the so...

You shouldn't give up so easily.  I believe you were trying to rush through the game from the sound of it.  You should at least give it another go.  I restarted another game to catch up to where you were and it took me only two tries to get through Hagatha's cave.  I still have yet to see the batmob...

This version of KQII differs greatly from the original.  So anything you may remember from it just disregard for this game.  As for Hagatha's cave, hopefully you saved it before you had entered.  The best way to go through this part is to hug along the north wall, get the items in the cloak, move ov...

She can capture you if you move too close to her or if she happens to finish her little chant.  Have you been playing with the game speed all the way up?  It should be a fairly easy thing to do what's needed in the cave and then leave as soon you have the necessary items.

That's a very simple procedure.  All you have to do is go as far east as you can, then depending how north or south you are when you happen upon the wall, you just go north or south until you find the opening that allows you to east once more and you should be at Neptune's kingdom.  I believe it wil...

Actually, you have no choice but to use the trident on the wall.  The second you are through the wall illusion, use the trident on the wall and that should do it.

Hey, no problem, always glad to help out.  I just can't think of why you couldn't get out of town with the pumpkin.  Did you have the game speed all the way up?  That may be a factor, but I don't think it should have hindered you at all.  Well if you have any further problems let us know.

If you take too long getting the baby pumpkin the merchant will go to sit down and it will make Graham put the pumpkin back automatically.  I've tried it myself just now 5 different times and had no problem at all.  As soon as the merchant goes for the fools gold, get the baby pumpkin and go in the ...

Did you happen to talk to the merchant after putting the fools gold into the fountain?  That should be the only other thing you need to do.  After you put the fools gold in the fountain, just talk to the merchant again and he should go the fountain to try and take the fake coins, then you should be ...

Hmm, just what exactly are you doing in the area where you have to retrieve the baby pumpkin?  And did you happen to talk to the mother pumpkin at all?  As for the library card, it's a very simple thing.  All you have to do is wait for the librarian to turn away, then click the hand icon on the quil...

No matter what I do to rescue the baby, it gets returned. I believe you are referring to the baby pumpkin.  In order to take the baby pumpkin you need to distract the "merchant".  To do that you need to remember what he was doing upon entering the village, as well as have a certain item i...

I think they all look pretty good.  But, myself, would have to pick from either the fourth one or last one.  In my opinion, those two stand out more. lol The logo on the top looks like something one might see at a party or something with the way the font is, but once again, that's my opinion.

Ahh, I thought as much.  Try looking around the island a bit more and you shall see where to pour the water.  Considering how small the island is, it shouldn't take you very long to notice what I'm talking about.

Just where exactly did you try to pour the water on while on the little island?  There is only one spot where you can pour the water on, are you sure it's the right area?  I can think of where you are trying to pour it, and it's more then likely the wrong place.

Re: A new Action Adventure Game that KICKS ARSE!!

Only americans write the month first. Since Alias came from SA, and lives in the UK: nothing wrong with how he wrote it. ???  What do you mean by "only Americans write the month first"? And by SA do you mean South America?  I simply had thought there was a typo there since he said he preo...

Is it possible you have a glitch?  Have you tried reloading a game or quitting and restarting?  I never had this problem, possibly someone else may know.

Re: QFG -Game Help.-

I'm a dummy.  Nevermind that last post.  I figured a different way to do it.  I just made a new folder and copy and pasted the files from the Anthology cd into that folder and it seems to have worked.  Looks like I'm going to have to do this with QFG2 and QFG3 as well.  The only game I can actually ...

Re: QFG -Game Help.-

lol ok, I get your point on that.  Unfortunately my Anthology cd is giving me problems now.  I open up Dosbox and do everything necessary for that, but when I go to use the INSTALL.EXE, it only allows me to do limited commands.  Such as, when it 1st loads up, it asks what language you want to instal...

You don't see it?  The character looks to be a pleasantly plump fellow, has short curly hair, and wears practically the same clothing.  Only major difference is the height. lol Ok, maybe there is something of a resemblence there.  Aside from the height difference as you pointed out. The reason the ...

lol  How so do you mean?  Samwise Gamgee is a hobbit of nothing but good intentions.  Do you mean the way the character himself looks in the Quest For Glory game(s)?  Also, if you like playing as a thief character, there is a game series called Thief.  It has 3 games in the series to it.  I haven't ...

Re: QFG -Game Help.-

Yeah, in my opinion the thief is a good choice.  Always get this thrill from sneaking around into places and liberating people's possessions, hehe.  Also from what I remember reading/hearing the thief is also the more difficult of the choices for class selection.  I could be wrong on that since I ne...

Actually, Quest For Glory Fan, you are right in thinking that is Snake.  I was looking at Gamespot earlier and happened across this that will confirm the pic Angelus posted. The trailer begins with a slightly baffling clip of first-person gameplay, in which an unnamed soldier patrols through a war-t...
