If the scratch is that bad then no method of copying will make it work, simply copying the file from the CD wont help as it wont be able to read the file due to the scratch which is what happens during installation/gameplay. That is quite possible.  However, I have had scratches on game discs befor...

jpnuar1, Do you have access to a CD burner?  One thing you could try to do is make a copy of your QFG4 CD. Try copying all of the files off of the CD to a folder on your hard drive.  Once copied, insert your blank CD and then burn all of the files in that folder to the CD.  You should then have an e...

Skyshark, any updates on catching that guy yet?  I hope the police find him.  I also hope things turn out ok with your car. I got into an accident just last week, at a speed of about 80km/h (50MPH).  At one point I was doing about 80 (or 50) going backwards.  Anyway, I'm fine... well I guess that's ...

LOL I am just such an agreeable guy, what can I say.  I haven't noticed the thing about posting right after you post though.  Probably being in the same time zone means we're online at similar times which would help with the near-synchronized posting. You don't have to worry about me coming to your ...

Swift is:

1) Supportive of others, always gives encouraging words to people; especially when they are down

2) Trustworthy - says what she means, and means what she says

3) A great artist

She has also been nice enough not to "use a polymorph, chainsaw or a whip" on me.... yet?   :eek

Yep, it didn't really make any sense.

I re-read it and I'm wondering it the point was that they didn't consider QFG to be an Adventure series, and instead considered it an RPG series.  Maybe he/she was trying to say they like RPG but not Adventure.  Otherwise yes, it makes absolutely no sense.

It might make a better marketing tactic for Froot Loops. "The official cereal of democracy!" or "The cereal Saddam hates, made with 100% real froot." :lol   Good point.  It might actually work, "The patriotic cereal!" That just reminded me of something I thought was hi...

Off topic - Bromios, that avatar is awesome. Ok back to this thread...  I think 1eyedParrot probably has a sense of humour somewhat like mine, but just decided to cross the line between appropriate and inappropriate.  Whether he was going to post a link to abandonware, gay porn, or gay porn disguise...

tremane, What version are you playing, the DOS one or Windows one? The DOS one works much better for me.  The URL that 1eyedParrot provided should help you.  ( http://www.geocities.com/belzorash/ ) Download the QFG4 patch, and "unzip" the file in the QFG4 directory.  If it asks you to repl...

For me it's pretty close, but I think I like The Return of the King just slightly better than The Two Towers.  I think the Ents are great... however, in the books they sound much more massive than they appear in the movies.  I thought they looked too frail in the movies. That's the thing with books ...

The voting option "Mmmkay" reminds me of the Guidance Councillor from South Park.

Hmmm, not sure.  It sounds good, so let's just say it is.

Well, if all the east coast has to offer is fish and French people, I think I'll skip it.  If I want to visit French people, Quebec is much closer, and there are plenty of fish in the nearby river.   ;)

If I was shipwrecked on an uncharted island I would...

Hold my breath and die.

That, after I found the buried rum and partied of course.

Or perhaps I would build a flying machine and leave the island, assuming there would be enough trees to get parts from.
