Re: ** QFG2 Official Countdown Thread, Friday Update **

You know what guys? When I saw the main AGDinteractive page change of style (or background anyways), and a change in the journal update page, my heart nearly stopped for a second since I thought it was out, but then laughed my ass off as I realised it was just an update. Seriously, this thread is co...

This reminds me of when I first discovered the remake being made... in August 2001! Amazing how time flies, eh?

Seriously, Maybe it could be out next month. I'm really hoping for a summer release.

Guys, I think that one thing that should be said is that I don't believe that 3D games, or 3D adventure games are really that 'bad'. The truth is, the biggest problem was execution. They weren't done well and effectively, this is why they weren't as good as the older 2D adventure games. Remember... ...

There's also another patch that permits the use of Magnum. There are lots of restrictions, since you can't sleep in the Gnome Inn without the game crashing (or so I remember, I haven't played the full game with Magnum in over 6 or 7 years, and I never fully played with Elsa). Some characters do noti...

"Emir" is a governor. Actually, the word Emir is Arabic for Prince. So an Emirate, translated literally into English, is a principality. Totally off topic. but for those who like the cat people.....Has anyone played the "Elder Scrolls" games? I have Morrowind and Oblivion (with ...

Honestly, we could release QFG2 right now and it'd be more stable and playable than QFG4 already. The stuff we're tending to right now is overall much more picky than "I walk into this room in order to solve a puzzle critical to advancing the plot and the game bombs out on me with a fatal erro...

Who's summer? No, this is just what I say every year around this time (Feb-April) it just expresses my gut feeling that the game will be ready for launch somewhere during Summer. ;) And since Beta testing has started, I'm really hoping that it's gonna be ready in several months. ;) Till next time s...

How about we leave the AGDs from constantly having to make new remakes and instead let them produce commerical games equalling, or surpassing, Al Emmo... that would be pretty cool. ;) BTW, you do realise that there are lots of projects out there for VGA remakes of games? Go ahead and search for them...

The pre-rendered characters look pretty good against the backgrounds if your monitor places thin scan-lines across the screen. My monitor does this, so whenever I play the game, the sprites look something like Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.  But most monitors don't place scan-lines across the scr...

Hey Paladinlover, Thanks for the feedback (and your support!). Making that game was a lot of fun... well, it was for me: putting it on paper without worrying about how it was going to get onto the screen! Glad you enjoyed the humour. (Or humor - whichever helped you ace a spelling test.) A teacher ...

Well I thought I played the what if game  on everything in qfg2 but I didn't know your drink selection mattered.  I know it depended on your conversation skill. Now I gotta try it and see what happens when you order water. There seems to be alot of ways you can piss off ferrari. What cracks me up i...

My Al Emmo review.

Hi all. I bought the Al Emmo game recently from Himilaya studios and after putting it up in order for me to finish my final exams before giving it all I could, I finally got around to playing the game and finishing it within this three day span! I did use some hints, but most, around 70% of the game...

Did you impliment that change? Not that it would matter in my case since after I discovered that the Grif...

Though I'd like to think that, Shalker, but I think that a full voice for QFG 2 would be way, way too much work for the AGDs. :)

No fear of that, Tomorrow, Nov 16th, it's all over. In fact, as soon as I wake up tomorrow, I'll make a post closing the number drawing and then I'll draw it later at night.

Also for Atomatic, I'll give you the number 55 since 199 is already taken. Good luck. ;)

They want to make sure none of the game content or quality would harm the goodwill associated with the series. That's why. But since they checked KQ1VGA and KQ2VGA a post-release check and didn't demand the games to be changed, I'm not expecting the tests to be very severe. Well if they checked KQ ...
