Re: Buying Roland MT-32 Sound Module

I love how it shows you the game you're playing - I always get a little rush when I load up a game and it flashes wildly and then shows the game title with the first Sierra logo notes... OOOOH! I am getting horny for my MT-32 right now I am going to have to turn it on and play with my Pestulon!

I love my MT-32. Does anyone know if you can hook the box up to a macintosh with the same usb/midi cable? How do you get it to work with mac?

Re: Codename: ICEMAN... Sierra's worst adventure game?

also, Jim Walls left Sierra and went on to work for Tsunami Games - a Sierra spin-off composed of quite a few ex-Sierra employees. The game he made there was called Blue Force. Nowhere near as pretty a box cover as his Sierra games. ;) Kinda blah - what do you think? eep! http://www.eriqchangstudio....

Re: Codename: ICEMAN... Sierra's worst adventure game?

I actually loved this game. I found the near-impossibly difficult submarine section incredibly gratifying. I thought the graphics were cool... memorable for me! I also loved the music - in particular the love theme song which sounds beautiful on the mt-32. Also, a fun fact maybe some of you might no...

Re: Day of the Tentacle Question - "friend of yours, Bernard?"

Text (not boxed) over the character sprites, as it is in the two games I'm playing now, seems to blend the action and dialogue better, while having to click through boxes can make the game feel like it has been paused, no matter how beautifully rendered the character portraits look or how well thei...

Re: Emily Morganti's "Quest for Glory" Article in Games Magazine

They list Emily as a contributor which was the ONLY way I could connect her to the article! I was trying to find out who wrote it as well - once I glanced at the masthead I zoned in on "Morganti" and knew no one else could have possibly written such a wonderfully "Sierra-fact" fi...

Re: Emily Morganti's "Quest for Glory" Article in Games Magazine

It's really worth buying! Once the issue has been out for a while, I'll see what I can do about getting a few scans up. But, out of respect for both Emily and the magazine, let's support it and buy a copy if possible. ;)

Emily Morganti's "Quest for Glory" Article in Games Magazine

The wonderfully talented Emily Morganti has written an extremely in-depth "Quest for Glory" article chock-full of screenshots and even a peek at the AGD QFG2 poster in a beautiful article in the latest issues of GAMES(tm) magazine. I know a few popular bookstore chains here in the US carry...

This is such a flattering thread! ;)

I have fond memories of the Quest for Glory II promotion. Those colour-me downloadable PDF's featuring your artwork were really something Lady Pyro. You should post more of your artwork on here - I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see more. ;)

It DOES include brand new material and, with that, a new site and a new handful of things. I just threw some cat fur into the cauldron. It's r...
