Downloading it now! :D Congratulations to everyone at IA for accomplishing yet another milestone. It takes a lot of damn hard work and dedication to see projects of this magnitude through to the end, and it's always awesome to have the opportunity play another blast from the past (particularly one I...

Re: When i run the game,it just says ''loading''
Which version of the game - Mac or PC?
What are your system requirements?
Does the same thing occur if you run winsetup.exe and change the graphics driver or check the box to run the game in windowed mode?

Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements
It depends on how soon the AGS engine gets ported to OS X. Now that it's been Open Sourced, it should only be a matter of time, but we'd certainly like to offer Mac versions of our games at some point. If we get funded and have the ability to hire more programmers next year, that should go a long wa...

Re: Broken Links
Should be all fixed now. Although, you might need to clear your cache to get the forum links from the website working.
I also updated the FAQ links, included King's Quest III Redux in there, got rid of all the duplicates, and made the rules thread global.

Could you post a screenshot with the mouse positioned exactly where you clicked, and also a screenshot of Alexander eating the porridge?

Re: Bug: the hero can eat the poisoned porridge
If I click the porridge on the hero, he transforms into a cat, BUT if I click the porridge on the table he sits next to the wizard and start eating it. What I had not noticed before is that the porridge is still in inventory after that, while trying this with any of the 3 foods that were on the kit...

Re: Games by Himalaya?
Don't expect any miracles from the Postcards from Anozira game if you're a seasoned adventure game fan. We made that game as an experiment on how such a game would perform financially - coming from a position of having no prior knowledge or experience in that genre. It re-uses a lot of the original ...

Re: Blocking bug when feeding the wizard with special porrid
Do you have either the music or speech volume volume slider at the very bottom setting (on silent) when this scene plays? If not, see if muting the sliders works. And if so, see if raising the sliders does the trick. You could also try running winsetup.exe and see whether selecting a different sound...

Re: Question about the eagle feather.
Yes, there's another item that can be used instead of the mutton chop. There are no dead-end puzzles in the game, but this particular puzzle solution that didn't exist in the original version so you'll need to search around the land to find it.

Re: i would like to hear the soundtrack in midi
I've uploaded all of the original MIDI files from the King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones remake. Download here Since the game doesn't use MIDIs anymore, I figured there was no point in letting them gather dust, not being heard. We opted to go the "digital music only" route because a lot...

Re: Another King's Quest 4 post.....
I couldn't speculate at this stage how likely a deal is because the success or failure of that is always determined through negotiation. The first step is having the financial wherewithal to pay licensing and development costs. The second is having the talent and skill to do the IP justice. In other...

The CD versions are still v1.0 (circa 2006) so that build is quite outdated now. v3.0 is the latest build which contains some extra features, highe...

Re: A request to AGD to help influence indie gamers to make
It's not really that BigFish charges too low an amount, because they sell games in such high numbers that the low pricing point is mitigated by the sales volume. They also changed their pricing system to work a little more in favour of developers. I'm told that their best-sellers generate 300K profi...

Without revealing too much, we've been in discussions with Activision since the beginning of the year. AGDI has been made an offer which we're currently trying to meet. We can't talk about any specifics, suffice to say that this is going to require us to completely restructure our company, which wil...
