Re: *** WINNERS ANNOUNCED! The Official QFG2 Contest!***
Hmm, i just realised i gave him qfg2 colours.
Okay, lets assume the hero chose dark one in the WIT and SOMEHOW managed to find his way out of the swamp. He then begins his doom when he picks up a strange looking wraith stone.
Here's my colouring

Re: Quest for Glory I 2.5D
That's looking so much better, i can imagine still shots on an engine like that would look a bit weird perspective wise. Im sure that when the game is actually being played the hero's movement and perspective look fine. Aw man i love how sharp the textures are. Any idea when ur releasing this demo? ...

Aww thank you :) honestly any skills I might have are all thanks to you and the kind members of the forums. I must admit, i rather cheekily made a version that was uncensored while i was colouring, it was reasonably easy to do because i was really just connecting the lines. I love your winning entry...

Re: Q.F.G. II: eliminating letterbox resolution at 640x480
It's weird, i coulda sworn someone said that the HQ filters made no difference at all. But you're right they really do. Unfortuately i really dislike what the HQ filter does to the graphics, it seems to blur them a lot and some things look weird with it enabled. I reckon it looks nicer without the h...

Re: Game & Movie Sequels That Just Never Should Have Been Made
Home Alone 3- everything about it just sucked! I don't think I even need to explain or justify this one. Home Alone 1 & 2 were my favorite Christmas movies as a child, and I guess still are. But the third movie just plain should NOT have been made. Yeah i totally agree, also, casting it with Mi...

Re: WHAT AN AWESOME REMAKE
You can really tell AGDI's hearts were in it (which I'm not so sure can be said about the QFG1 remake that Sierra did). I really think that QFG2VGA is a better remake than Sierra ever would have, or could have, created. I totally agree, the remake is fantastic. And i think that what REALLY stands o...

Re: Is it necessary to buy a saurus?
Heh heh, when i first played the remake i forgot that the saurus had a time limit to buy so when i got the this screen for the last time i had 2 dinars on me and also managed to save my game just before leaving the screen. Making it impossible to advance in the game :) Saurus merchants really are de...

Re: Can't get into Aziza!
Yeah, honestly it didn't cross my mind either. I reckon most people wouldn't have seen it thatt way because a lot of people have some kind of problem when they're trying to access aziza, whether it be them mispelling something or what. So when you see a thread like this, your immediate thoughts are ...

Re: WHAT AN AWESOME REMAKE
Try harder next time? Gimme a break, kid. You couldn't make a game using the AGS Roger and a stolen background from Google Images. Bt I hope you weren't refering to my post? I was actually having a dig at the "effendi" guy who wrote at the end of his post that they should try harder. Not ...

Yeah guys JESUS TRY HARDER NEXT TIME
Blatently just sat there why the game made itself and got released with wonderfully detailled graphics, an incredible combat system, and so many easter eggs that every playthrough is new.
What a disappointment.
Love it

Re: Skill progression
My only issues with the skill balancing are. Stealth is indeed different to EVERY other qfg game because it drains stamina, it makes no sense and i really think it would be better if it didn't. Climbing is extremely hard to build (or though not as hard as qfg3 which is impossible) but in a way that'...
