I couldn't solve a puzzle in KQ7 because of the lack of subtitles. I ended up using a walkthrough, just to find out that [spoiler]The archduke Le Yip Yap (or whatever his name was) said "Be sure to take the Faux Shop with a grain of salt". I couldn't understand what he was saying otherwise...

Fribbi, Klitos has a classical Australian accent (at least as far as I can judge). The way they speak Down Unda is my favorite English accent. Would be nice if more Aussies posted their voiceclips here...

How lucky you are to have such loving parents! I know you didn't choose them, but if you could, I am sure you would have chosen them out of all parents in the world...

Congratulations, Deb and Chris!

The Economics of a 2D Adventure in Today's Market

I just read This Article on Ron Gilbert's site. It is a very interesting read and, seeing that we now know about the plans of Himalaya Studios to do just what the article describes, I was wondering if people here agree with Gilbert's speculations.

There has been ongoing research in the area, which supports the following conclusions: 1. Attractiveness estimation is primarily based on external features (Judging a book by the cover is a natural, innate mechanism, for both men and women) 2. Attractiveness estimation based on non-external features...

I usually have cereal for breakfast, but the traditional breakfast for me consists of half a sandwich (not a normal one cut in half, but rather an uncovered slice of bread with cheese...

Someone has to ask you to retreive something from Hagatha's cave, before that, you just don't have a reason to enter it.
Explore the town some more, maybe something has changed while you were busy getting the blue gem.
