I have the same issue with King's Quest 2 and Maniac Mansion Deluxe.

King's Quest 1 was fine though.

I voted the Hero because:

1. being danced to death by the faries

2. becoming a giant Banana Slug

I can do that for KQ2 but not for KQ1. I could NEVER climb that beanstalk! Every time, fall came early for Graham.

BTW, where is the credits music for KQ1 from? I know it was used for the Christmas carol "What child is this?" but I do not its origins.
