Re: need advice from friends

Sorry for you, AsianMusicGuy. If it's any consolation for you, from someone who lost a cousin to a driving accident, I found that people to which you are very attached never really leave you. I still have dreams of him (and my deceased father) from time to time, where they cheer me up and tell me wh...

With the internet, that is over. Completely. Today, piracy won't help companies at all, since everybody knows upcoming titles will also be pirated and shared faster than a spreading bullet. And, IMO, it's natural to most people that if you can get something for free instead of paying for it, you'll...

Though some of the arguements you make are valid DJ i think that they simply do not apply to small companies like AGDI because its just differences on a huge scale. A large commercial game, selling in several stores, having a fan community and having many reviews for it, could possibly benefit from...

There are many problems. For instance, free games attract many broke students and people "against the system" (can't find the term in english), which are bulky but aren't really customers. Another problem is that people is really lazy, so buying the game should be made as easy as you can (...

Congratulations for the achievement!! :D I would gladly help, but I've never played QFG II and I prefer not to open the gifts early. I think you'll have plenty of people ready to betatest, so I wish good luck to everyone. I'll betatest in the rare case you fell short of people, but fortunately I thi...

How about Groucho for the Saurus Salesman? It will be difficult for him since he is dead, but the fortune that would be spent on him could be used in writing a speech program that got his voice from clips of his movies/radio serials. :p

Now that I remember, a friend wants to know if bargaining/changing money will allow you to set the quantity/price directly; Quest for Glory III only allows you to raise/low the value by one cent? each time and clicking so many times is bothersome. Maybe you could hold the mouse button to keep the va...

Isabella, it's impossible to play King's Quest III without reading the manual first. Once you are done with it, ask any question about puzzles on Infamous-adventures forums. You may find the manual and a walkthrough in their page, too.

Instead of opening a thread every time you get a bit stuck, you can look at the KQIIVGA guide. It includes a "Hint section" if you don't want too much information, and a complete walkthrough if that's what you need. ;)

I'm currently playing Quest for Glory 1, and it seems that you can change silver coins for gold ones by buying items like the empty flask. (10 silver coins = 1 gold coin) I wonder if the guards steal also your gold coins if you don't trade them to the money changer. I was going to keep one for mysel...

It's intentional.  Providing a constant exchange rate would be much easier to implement than the current variable rate. Maybe because it's early for me and I just haven't woken up, but would you mind explaining?  Why would they implement something harder rather then something easier? My educated gu...

(spoiler free) I found that puzzle to be the hardest on the game, because if I remember well it doesn't allow you to perform the action to get the crystal until you know you need it. I got stuck because I assumed that you could never get it that way. Maybe the game could be changed to allow to get i...

Minor oversights?

Hi! I've played the King's Quest remakes and I immensely enjoyed them. However, there was a missing feature on them that I would have loved to see included. All Sierra VGA classics allow you to press ESC during game to instantly access the action menu. Because the game pauses while you choose an act...

Vivendi releases LSLVII for cell phone

Hi, guys! I've played your games recently and they were wonderful! Good job you did, now I want to replay again all these Adventure Games I had on my room. Some of them are Roberta William's Antologhy and Quest for Glory, which I will soon replay. I'm relieved I found this page so late and which QFG...
