Hmmm I hope the KQ9 folks obtained permission from Vivendi to make the game.

Man, some of you guys really have the wildest imagination. I strongly agree that this is purely an improvement in graphics over time.

Just noticed that the main page's been updated and referred to this thread, which is great and hopefully it'll prevent people asking for the completion date. Also noticed in http://www.agdiforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11593 that it's only AGD2 and Erpy working on the debugging. What happened to ...

Thanks for the status updates erpy.

I don't recall meeting Rakeesh at nite though. Must've missed out that one when I played the game.

You should consider playing QFG2 EGA. It's a great game.

The game is already at its alpha testing stage. It's only a matter of identifying bugs and fixing them before they go for beta. Don't think they need more programmers at the moment.

Another question on importing. I recall that due to certain stats (perhaps Lock Picking) that I shouldn't have as a Fighter, I was wrongly imported as a Thief in QFG2. In the remake, will we be able to choose the type of character after importing, just like what we could do later in the series? Or w...

Ok now this is a very tricky bug, an event that relies on another. Similar to the letter/note in QFG4 that required a patch. And of course, it doesn't crash the game. And yes, another good in-sight for us fans.

Curiosity...that's all...and it makes the game more real coz if you can reach there by caravan, you should be able to go there by yourself.

AGD2: I absolutely agree with what you're saying. Addressing bugs that you've discovered should come first before you get hammered with bug reports from others. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be surprised that there'll be a version 2.0 of the game as KQ2VGA had, because it's far more complicated that KQ2....

Three times of successful tests sound too little. I was hoping for a public beta though. We get the game faster, and there'll be more people testing the game. Win-Win situation  :lol

Walking towards Raseir

After all these years, I just found out that it's possible to walk to Raseir from Shapeir without a caravan. So I wonder, will this be the same in the remake?

Nice graphics. The final version of the game is going to be 320x200 rite? Any chances of making it 640x480?

Just curious, are we going to have a Saurus Repair Shop as mentioned in the QFG2 main page?

I never have problems with that... First thing I do is head out and kill something.  You either get money or a salable item (Ghoul Claws or Scorpion Tail) Smart move. This is something I never thought of after all these years. But again, will the money changer be bookmarked in your map if you do it...

Gloriana Timeline

Just came across this and would like to share with everyone, if it's not posted before. http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Arcade/7435/Games/Timeline.htm Strange that Julanar's transformation was not mentioned, and King Justinian's murder was mentioned twice in QFG3 and QFG4 respectively. Main pag...

I thought of donations too, months ago, not as an encouragement to finish up the game, but a token of appreciation. I guess AGD2 is rite. We can always buy Al Emmo as a token of appreciation for the 3 remakes they did.

I have strong confidence that the game will be completed and released. Just hope there'll be more updates, or release the Alpha/Beta versions so that more people could try the game and provide feedback on bugs.
