Something that I guess will not be included by AGDInteractiv

In the version of Quest for Glory II that I got back in 1990, one of my favorite features was when after concluding your deal with the saurus salesman (when he gives his "no returns" spiel) a bug would cause him instead of walking away normally to simply drift backwards while standing there, facing you and holding his cigar.  I would always voice act all the lines in my games before they started using professional voices, and when the salesman was drifting backwards I would always add (tapping a cigar and in my best Groucho voice): "How I do this I have no idea" (wiggle eyebrows).  This is still one of my favorite bugs in a computer game.  Unfortunately, I don't suppose that AGDInteractive will include this bug...

Sorry, nope. There's plenty of other bugs we could leave in there instead if this is your idea of fun. :p

It ironically was, by accident. Then we spotted it and took it out.

C'mon Erpy, you've gotta leave some classic bugs in...it wouldn't be a Quest for Glory game without a few! :lol

No, I think it's better to remake the game without the bug. Much as I too enjoyed this part of the game, it's better to have a bug free game. Imagine remaking QFGIV and leaving Error 52 in there. While Ali Fakir's use of the Glide spell is fun, I think it better that it be left out.

What bug are we talking about? I haven't played any QFG games through yet.

Heh. I was talking about Error 52. We've all spent countless hours avoiding both monsters and Error 52... it is part of the game!!

Oh yes...I thought we were talking about QFG2. That's a QFG4 bug right?

I also thought we were talking about QFG2 and that he was talking about the bug that let you sell the dervish beard to Keapon continuously. It WAS in our version due to an oversight in the code until we spotted it.

Aaaah!! You can't remove that! I'm not so sure that was a bug! Most players just never realized they could sell it over and over. It kinda makes sense if you consider it as magically growing beard...  :p

Y'know, it would be fun if there was an easter egg where someone in the QFG2 remake made a joke about Error 52.

I imagine it would have to be during one of the wizarding sections.  It wouldn't make sense anywhere else.  Though, I guess it wouldn't really make sense in the wizard section either, but since when have Erasmus and co. made sense?

Probably too late for all that though, huh?

Oh, and hi, everyone.  Long time lurker, short-time leaper-outer.

Bugs made QFG2 really easy. I always hate to work for money. Boy I sound lazy.  :|

It shouldn't be that hard to add a single bit of dialogue to a talking interaction or something. Knowing them, though, they might have actually already added one :). KQ2VGA had a lot of funny ones, too
