I doubt they will be doing KQ3 now that Infamous Adventures have released their remake.

No one. I thought this topic was about speculation and I was referring to the original post.

I think that they are VGA remaked KQ7 and KQ8, both of them with enhanced plot and gameplay par to KQ6 and KQ2+ (The bests in the saga.)

Adventure_Knight, please explain why you think KQ7 needs a remake.

I haven't played it, but all the reviews of KQ7 that I have read says that it needs a improvement.

I disagree.  I rather find that King's Quest VII, of all the series, is the one with the most charm.  It's a nice mix of puzzle and story, with beautiful animation and decent voice work to top it all off.

Though I must say, I'm very much looking forward to playing the King's Quest III remake (and replaying the remakes of I and II).  ;-)

In any case, King's Quest VII's engine is probably too advanced to be considered for recreation.  Seems to me that most remakes, completed or otherwise, focus entirely on AGI/SCI games.

Then maybe they will be ''director's cut'' editions of KQ1VGA and KQ2VGA?

I'd say it's KQ5VGA.

Yeah right! KQ5 has already be compiled into VGA version.

I think it is Colonel Bequest.

AGDI has stated many times that they will do no such thing I believe.

O rly? What an utter shock that is... I mean I can't believe I didn't know that. Something makes me believe you're losing your touch as the AGDI Entertainer. :)
