Top 10 Things to Do Why You Wait for QFG2VGA

Top 10 Things to Do Why You Wait for QFG2VGA,

Do *NOT* treat this thread as whining/moaning why QFG2VGA isn't out yet, but instead a fun distraction with light sarcasm.

10 Read the Journal's Log for any signs of a change or release date.
09 Get pissed at someone who posted a comment that QFG2VGA is vaporware.
08 Try to find Speilburg on a Globe...
07 Try to find Shapier/Rasier in the Middle East...
06 Read Journal's Log (again) for any signs of a change.
05 Read the forums, looking for any sights of new posts/contact
04 Play QFG1 <again>, as a Thief, all Thief Stats 100
03 Play QFG1 <again>, as a Wizard, all Wizard Stats 100
02 Play QFG1 <again>, as a Fighter, all Fighter Stats 100
01 Repeat #s 10-2, every 5 days, on the nose.

Your comments welcome, it doesn't even have to be 10.

Most of mine have nothing to do with QfG but a few actually:
10: Working for a living ;)
09: Play Hitman 2 Silent Assassin at home
08: Play Tomb Raider III on Virtual PC 2004 at work during lunch time
07: Self-training (albeit lazily) with OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 in preparation to migrate from MS Office 2003
06: Check/post on Siegenetwork forum
05: Check KQIX website for news
04: Check Hero6 website for news
03: Reading a few QfG fan fictions
02: Occassionally check/post on this forum
01: Check http://www.agdinteractive.com regularly every few days

Check out track 7 on the Avenue Q: Original Broadway Soundtrack.

Minutes upon minutes of subversive entertainment.

I agree. What a shame about the subversive part.

While I'm waiting, I'm playing through QG1new with all 3 character types (even though I bastardize the thief by learning all attributes)

10. make your own game
9. learn the intricate art of background drawing
8. learn to animate characters
7. learn about story lines and how important they are
6. search the net for that illusive piece of scripting that helps you
5. check for bugs
4. fix bugs
3. let others play for fun to help check for bugs
2. fix their bugs
1. realise just how hard it is to make a game and not blame agdi for how long its taking on their release of qfg

10. Replay QFG2EGA, being sure to take diligent notes so you don't accidentally miss any part of the AGDI masterpiece when it arrives.
9. Work on creating the perfect character to import to QFG2VGA.
8. Replay the King's Quest series (including KQ1 and 2 VGA), Space Quest series, and Gabriel Knight series without dying once, like the characters experience it.
7. Hone your own writing skills by writing scripts for games of your own.
6. Get a REAL LIFE to occupy your time while you wait.
5. Battle a bear with your bare hands for no apparent reason.
4. Learn Elvish, Klingon, Kryptonese, and l337$p3@k.
3. Get a pet.
2. Learn to fly.
and the #1 thing to do while you wait for QFG2VGA is...
1. Wait for Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine!!!!! WOOOOOO!!! Skippy!!!

And remember, once QFG2VGA is released, you have to re-jettison all of this so you have time for it, so don't get too attatched to that pet you'll get. Now go forth, young grasshopper, and await the coming of the VGA!!!!

Gee, you sound a lot like a former roomate of mine (is that you Ben?) :eek

Also, because I know everyone is just dying to hear my opinion on it! :rolleyes  I love superman in general but I think that smallville is a rather stupid show.  I especially hate how dumb and naive they make Clark in that show.

Smallville!

I've enjoyed it, for the most part. I don't suppose Kristin Kreuk has anything to do with that...

hmm.. well i might have to update my list.  I've given up World of Warcraft.  Too much 'life' going on to play games these days.  (except the occasional review or beta-testing, of course!)

Oh, and seeing how Al Emmo is coming out first, I suppose a huge amount of time waiting for QFG2 will be spent playing Al Emmo!  Woohoo!

1. Inject yourself with a comma inducing serum and have doctors wake you up when QfG2VGA is released.
