Forum lag

It seems that lately whenever I visit the forums, they lag terribly. It takes a couple minutes to load the forums and topics. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

May be a different thing but i've noticed when i apply the QFG2 theme to the forum it goes really really laggy for me

That's probably because the QFG2 theme is more graphic intense. The AGDI theme is basically just colours besides the banner.

Maybe, but i'd have thought my computer could handle it, im using a Geforce 8800 and all that sugar

It's not about what your computer can handle it's about what speed the server that the website/forum is on is capable of transferring.

I've had occasional slowdowns, but aside from a few rare instances it's usually only a matter of seconds.

It just seems really random. It was going fine today then I click to look at a thread's new posts and I wait 2 minutes for it to load. I don't know if it's my connection or the server being overloaded...
