I dont know why but i'm having a feeling that QFG2 is not going to be released alone. They might have some game to release with QFG2vga.....
Discuss AGDI's King's Quest and Quest for Glory remakes, and other Sierra On-line games.

When Chris (AGD2) asked me to create the website, I think I about choked on my veggie burger... especially since, unlike Al Emmo, I played no role in the development of the actual game. It's been very exciting putting my own twist on this classic title, along with a few other surprises.
Like all of you, I have been anxiously awaiting the final game. I have had exactly two encounters with this new release - once at Planet Hollywood where I met the entire development team and watched as AGD2 tinkered around with the character selection screen and earlier this year when the fabled Britney Brimhall and Stijn (Erpy) stayed at my studio and helped me draw cartoon fish (more on that later. ). It was a test in patience shielding my eyes from Erpy's laptop which, at every opportunity, he enthusiastically powered up to demo the slick new battle system with. It's true. I want to savour every minute - shiny and new. To say that I am excited is an understatement.
Stick around. There's more coming from the peanut gallery. And thank you for the feedback!

With a new game release on the horizon in the near future, AGDI has decided to refresh its list of mirrors which host our games. We plan on taking the no longer functioning mirrors off the list and also accepting offers from people willing to host our games, both new and old. We would obviously like to have adequate server space available by the time QFG2VGA is released and we would like to start organizing this now so that the release can be seamless and hitch-free. If you have a good deal of server space and bandwidth to spare and are willing to help us distribute our projects, please contact us at (agdinteractive -at- gmail.com) with a mail titled "AGDI Mirror Offer" and let us know that you'd like to donate server space. In this mail, please also let us know the maximum amount of space and bandwidth you have to offer. Please note that the bandwidth load will be shared across all servers and will be put on rotation every time someone downloads a file from the AGDI website. Additionally, we would like to be able to host the files on the servers indefinitely.
Please keep in mind that this isn't just about QFG2VGA. It also extends to our other projects.

We're also in the process of preparing somewhat of a surprise for the future (two of them, actually) which fans of the first two King's Quest remakes should enjoy, but to say any more at this point would be telling.
The surprises towards you are pointing JONww...... i think one of them was Al Emmo maybe.JonWW wrote:Don't forget 01-23-06 in the designer journals Anonymous Game Creator #2 wrote:

Actually Al Emmo was going into it's beta testing phase at that time. I believe Al Emmo was released Sep 2006, but I don't think the release of Al Emmo was a big surprise.MusicallyInspired wrote:Al Emmo was already released when that was posted.
Anything except that. They canceled Royal Quest for a good reason. A it was extremely offensive, and B they wanted to portray Vivendi/Sierra's copyright in a good light.Tehseen wrote:And what about Royal Quest game Gronagor .it can also be a huge surprise for fans as well......
I know they cancelled that project but who knows, anything is possible.....
What? AGS is already free. Unless you're talking about the battle engine for QFG2VGA. But how would that "interest fans of the first two King's Quest remakes?"DrJones wrote:Maybe they're planning to release the game engine for free!
