I just thought of another interesting ending. SPOILER

I wonder what would happen if you decided to drop the waterskin that the water elemental was in. And then finished the game. I know if you have the water elemental you end up restoring the water to the fountain in raseir. But now i am wondering what happens if you don't have it.
And will you be able to drop the waterskin with the water elemental in the remake ?

The game won't allow you to drop the Elemental Waterskin. The remake allows you to drop certain items, but usually not important ones, unless dropping the important item (like your change of clothes or the Magic Lamp) lead to an Easter Egg in the original.

the ending is the same in the original if you drop the elemental water, i never really understood that but i guess the hero went back to the desert of Shapeir and searched and searched until he found it somewhere in between defeating ad avis and using it on the Raseir fountain. that always kind of annoyed me, I want to be evil a couple of times and let Raseir stay a slum =/
