The wonderfully talented Emily Morganti has written an extremely in-depth "Quest for Glory" article chock-full of screenshots and even a peek at the AGD QFG2 poster in a beautiful article in the latest issues of GAMES(tm) magazine. I know a few popular bookstore chains here in the US carry GAMES magazine. Be sure to check it out if you get a chance!

Emily is well known for her role as PR at Telltale Games where she helped launch games like Bone and Sam and Max - she recently left the company and has struck out on her own to pursue a writing career. It's really worth buying! Once the issue has been out for a while, I'll see what I can do about getting a few scans up. But, out of respect for both Emily and the magazine, let's support it and buy a copy if possible.

Agreed, Eric. Bought a back-issue off of eBay last week, and got it Monday.

Pretty interesting read, and I even learned a thing or two, trivia-wise.

Strangely enough, I didn't see where the game(tm) Magazine gave Emily any credit, either in the table of contents or the article itself...

They list Emily as a contributor which was the ONLY way I could connect her to the article! I was trying to find out who wrote it as well - once I glanced at the masthead I zoned in on "Morganti" and knew no one else could have possibly written such a wonderfully "Sierra-fact" filled piece.

Emily is the best! The King approves!

Maybe we could get some scans of it now? I couldn't find the magazine, but my local bookstore sucks.

Funny this just came up. I was staring at my copy of the magazine over the Christmas holiday, debating on whether to disassemble it so I could try to scan and upload the PDF...

However, you probably have better equipment and the skills to give it a more professional look.

It's great timing. We get the QfG article right after Emily announced she's got a Gabriel Knight article in the most recent issue (106) as well.

Has the PDF been taken down? It doesn't seem to work for me.

The PDF file didn't work for me before either, but it does now. Great feature!

The article was great! As a big QFG fan, it was wonderful to read about the history of the game and she's a great writer. It makes me want to read her Gabriel Knight game all the more, as I dearly loved the first two games. I'm hoping that one of the stores in my area will pick this magazine up so I can read it.
