AGDI mention in US PC Gamer magazine

#1 Post by goatmeal » Thu Apr 28, 2011 12:08 am

In the new issue of PC Gamer (US Edition, June 2011, Volume 214) under the article "Best Buys In PC Gaming: Free For All" on pages 58-59, amongst the suggested games they highlight are:

-- KQ3 Redux (also mentioning that the first two KQ games have been remade, but are not requisite for playing KQ3R)

and

-- QFG2 VGA

They also mention Sarien.net for playing the original incarnations of Sierra games...

I blame it on the international date line.

Yeah, not sure why magazine publishers do that, but it appears to be a pretty common practice here in the States. Many (most?) publishers put out magazines with the issue's "month designation" being one or two ahead of the actual release date.

Perhaps they can keep them on the shelves longer in case of a printing (or other) problem? Give it a longer "shelf life", so to speak? So the mag would appear current even if it's actually been out for a month or two...
