QfG I; undiscovered easter egg in guild hall?

Sorry if too much off topic, mods please remove if inappropriate. Well, here goes:
Browsing through some archives of graphics ripped from QFGI ega, I stumbled upon these pictures of the saurus plaque in the guild hall and some OTHER saurus plaque, the other one looking very much like the former, only more ferocious. I wonder what that was, and if it made it into the final game? An undiscovered easter egg? Btw, other small gems I discovered due to browsing the raw graphics: Try killing the fox.
Try hacking the spirea plant to pieces.
