Hmmm... That makes me every kind of extreme there could be. I like to party... drink too much, and if I really feel like it: get into fights (rarely gets too physical... people's too scared of me) I love body-building, and believe me I'm strong. Very tall. I love sports... in fact I've studied in that direction. Ok, I've been growing a slight belly the last year or so, but at this stage I'm not worried about that. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Hmmm... my hobby is computers, comuter art and website-design. I'm involved in 4 fan-projects (although I'm always neglecting one or the other).

Hmmm... I love girls... hehe (who doesn't?!?!) and flirting. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

So... Don't worry, Gron, I am similarly all over the place. I play computer games, read comic books, hold long discussions about RPGs and other learned things, was on the debate team, and even had a stint with the chess club.

On the other hand, I played organized baseball for 10 years, was on the cross-country team in middle school, play paintball whenever I have the dough, I fence on the side, I'm a drummer in a punk rock band, I drink and party at least once a week (in fact, there's a bottle of Jack in my closet that still needs consumption...), I'm an actor who always seems to land the lead roles, and I currently don't know which girl I want to be with as far as the ones that want to date me. I mean, they're all hot as hell and they all have some of the best personalities I've ever seen. A-gnostic

Quote:
Actually, if you are agnostic, that means that you refuse to believe in the existance of and do not disbelieve in the existance of a god or gods without further proof of one or the other. An agnostic doesn't say, "There is no god/gods/heaven/yadda.", that would be an atheist. An agnostic would say, "I don't have sufficient proof that god exists, nor do I have sufficient proof that god does not exist, so until I have more (convincing) information I will not commit myself to believing either." If you fully believe that god exists, you are not agnostic. Secular and/or unorthodox perhaps, but not agnostic.

That does seem to be the common usage, and I guess we could just argue forever about it. Actually, for those who are interested, "nerd" is about the only accurately used term to describe those of us who pursue intellectual or other non-social activities. Here are the names and actual meanings of some common terms.

Nerd--one dedicated to a non-social pursuit

Geek--one who eats live animals for show

Dork--a whale's penis

Well, there you have it, if you don't believe me look in a dictionary!

I think people who are trying to define "Nerd" "Geek" and "Dork" are people who may have a little too much time on their hands.

Maybe these terms should be applied to some people here!

<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I woke up this morning, thought I'd have a nice relaxed day; do a bit of reading, brush the dog, it's now just after four in the afternoon and I'm already being thrown out of an alien spaceship five light years from the smoking remains of the Earth!

A Deist, Vildern, is a person who believes that a higher power exists, but he is to us as we are to a clock. A clock can not even begin to understand what it is that you are, what it is that you do, and what it is that makes you be. So, who are we to understand God? I believe in a higher power, but I believe that he is so far above our understanding that no religion could ever accurately portray him. Famous Deists include Benjamin Franklin, which is why I referenced him. In fact, a lot of the founding fathers were Deists, if I recall correctly.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot. Deists also believe that God doesn't intervene in his creation. He created the world, and like a clock he's letting it run its course. That's the part I'm sorta sketchy on, though. I believe he intervenes, but it's only to bump us along every now and then, not in the sense that he's always messing with us.
-----------------------
CrisS
Newsletter and Plot Writer
Kings Quest IX: Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining

<img src="http://www.sighost.us/members/thelongwa ...
Battle to the end, even if it kills you.

<img src="http://www.howtobeahero.com/images/type ...
Be a Hero.
Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub57.ezboard.com/broyalquestfor ... urt2384 at: 12/20/03 6:58 am

Well... I mostly agree with that religion then. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"> My only problem would be about Him not intervening.
