to honor the countdown to QFG2! Something along the lines of snorting a basket of pixie sticks, or petting a stray dog. This very well could be the singular event in some of our lives. We need to do something!

Sure does. Rambaldi used to freebase them, until he lit himself and his hair on fire.

Anyway..... the countdown to QFG2........ Hehe. I played the original again recently to get excited for the new game. It was fun. I walked around Shapier, and remembered what it was like to be 12, and playing this game.......

I love when people insult BT's old age (besides me). :D

About QFG2 VGA remade, I think it gave a dream about it. I dreamed about a remake of QFG 2 in EGA instead! There was many dark "persian" towers very close of each other ( you could almost use all your hands and your feet on two walls of the towers to ascend the up to the top of the towers though they weren't close enough ). The hero was falling and while he was falling, some ninjas ( Japanese characters in an arabian country, it gives a "special mixing"... ) was falling too but they seemed to control their fall, they wanted to kill the hero but he didn't defend himself while falling in the air. Then my dream went on a "police quest 1 ega" but it is too much different.

I don't think I've ever dreamed in EGA. That would be sweet.

I've dreamed in crayon. I'm serious.

Um, isn't QFG2 already in EGA graphics? Those aren't VGA, obviously, and the graphics aren't quite four-color CGA...

Heh. :) He probably dreamt about the original one then. :)

Jenkins, you really had a dream about that?
That's so weird man. I had a dream about that stuff too. It was called QFG2: Trial by Parody. It showed the EOF room, except that the chains were made of velcro, and the room was padded. You had to beat up that one guy (who walks with a sword that you supposedly kill in the EOF) with a rubber chicken.
Then, Ad Avis had an afro and was going to set up a giant disco ball so everybody would go blind. That was one of my most twisted game dreams. Maybe I should make it into a game. :)

You guys could all make flyers, print them, and post them on street corners and bus stops and all those places where people stick flyers.

Hey, they could come up with neat bumper stickers like "Need Saurus? www.agdineractive.com"
Or
"Elements getting you down? Tierra's got your answer!"

of course, 99% of the population will have no idea what you are talking about...but that is part of the fun!

"Don't let Shapier be a victim from Elementals of Mass destruction." :p
"Got Saurus?"
"<Insert mean looking picture of Ad Avis> He looks like a friend." :lol

I have to thank you, Alliance. I haven't laughed so hard in quite a long time.

Wow. I like QFG and all, but I'm not so obsessed that I've ever dreamt about it or considered having QFG bumper stickers printed for my car. But what the heck: if snorting a basket of pixie sticks is how we're all going to honour the forthcoming QFG2 then you can count me in. :lol

The pictures of your dreams looks dynamic and joyful. I think about the rubber chicken of your dream could mean it comes from QFG4, the title "QFG2: Trial by parody" could mean something funny you wish or would like to see about QFG2. I don't seem to find where other elements of the places come from or what they mean but I appreciated you shared your pictures :) Topics about dreams are one of my favourite ones. It looks as if people sharing their dreams gives some sort of fraternity between people :)

About my dream, it looks like dark towers close of each others could mean my dream was happening in Raseir. Falling from the towers could mean that I tried to see what happens when someone falls on the ground and if he had any idea about how he could find a way to save himself. Finally, the ninjas could come from "Last Ninja" or "Shinobi", but I don't understand why the ninja tries to kill the hero then.

I think dreaming about QFG2 ega is a way to express in my mind that I'm enthusiastic about the remake ( I agree, it is strange I dreamed about the ega version but I can't exactly explain why it happened in my mind ) :)

Oh, I forgot to mention that I had ANOTHER (yes another) dream in which the hero was fighting the pizza elemental. (anyone remember this from the old QFG 2 manual?) You had to dress up as a pizza guy, put a pizza box on the ground, use the bellows to blow the pizza into the box, then use a whole bunch of glue to get it shut.

Is this the result of my mentioning a Pizza Elemental in another topic?

BTW, I imagine the Pizza Elemental as looking like a pizza monster from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

No. I don't even know what your topic was called. I got the idea from that red guidebook for QFG2. Besides which, it happened in my dream.

Was a Pizza Elemental mentioned in the guidebook? I don't know as I have the anthology.

Well, it says something like this:
There are 5 different elements: Fire, water, earth, air, and pizza.
After some arguements scholars agree that fire is most definately an element.

Makes you wonder why there wasn't an Awful Pizza Walker in QFG3!
The Hero DOES become a pizza himself when the rhino gets him.
I hope that there is a Pizza Elemental in QFG2VGA.
