Sierra Gamers survey

#1 Post by Gabbahey » Tue Jul 27, 2004 2:40 am

I recently saw a survey put up by Ken Williams on the Sierra Gamers website asking for interest in creating a new game. I was wondering if any of the anonymous game creators had put their names in the hat? I certainly hope so, as you talented and dedicated individuals are in my opinion the ones that keep the true spirit of Sierra On-Line alive even today.

Sorry to sound so cheesy, but knowing I don't have near the talent or abilities to even think of signing up for such a great opportunity, I was hoping some of you had some thoughts on this?

Thanks for spreading the word. I've already made sure that the H6 team has seen this. Wonder who else might be interested.

I don't think the AGCs will. I mean, with a voluntary project it's always a gamble whether you'll be able to finish a project, especially when you don't know the other's very well.

If they have time after Qfg2, I think they would stick to the same team because well, eh, it works.

It's an interesting idea. Then again, I'm not sure how succesful it will be - even with Ken Williams helming (or at the least, launching) the thing. It's more than possible this could turn into a messy situation with way too many people and conflicting ideas and not enough people really dedicated to spending the time needed on the project.

I doubt anyone from the AGDI team will decide to get involved over there - we are all busy enough here as it is, and we have our own plans.
