The dialogue pictures in our games were handdrawn by AGD1 and then scanned in and colored on the computer.
(and no, QFG2 EGA did not have any dialogue portraits)

Thanks for the explanation, I learned something new without expectation. Actually, I was indirectly asking how did a town in QFG2 (Shapeir) ended up in QFG3 East fricanA (modified from East African, I believe). heheh....

I believe the AGD's are indeed playing with the thought of posting some shots sooner or later. Perhaps even with them included on it. (which would probably make The Avatar's dream come true)

Fricana is taken from Africa, yes, but nowhere is it stated that Shapeir is in Fricana. Tarna is the setting of QG3, which is in Fricana. The Hero and his entourage make the journey from Shapeir to Tarna via a magical portal.

I hope you two had had lots of fun in Africa, and it sounds like you did. I'm a little jealous that you two get to have so many adventures, these days ir feels like my adventuring days are over. Anyway, next time let me know so I can smuggle myself in a crate to where ever it is you two are going!
