Yea its good, its worth playing as adventure games are scarce these days, its fun but a little basic, puzzles arent difficult but its fun. Best to check out a review at Gamespot or something for a more accurate insight lol

I know it's not a standard 2D Sierra-style adventure game, but Myst IV is a blast. My wife and I have been playing through it together (she really only likes to play adventure games). It corrects a lot of the things that made previous Myst games somewhat difficult (including a built-in hint system).

Oh, and back to the Himalaya Studios game, what's up with all the western adventure games? I've been watching Chapter 11 Studios (http://www.chapter11studios.com) for some time, and their 2D adventure game is also a western. Not to mention the LA Indiana Jones remakes and such.

The foundations of the project lie somewhere in 2001, so it's not like it's there's been a trend we've been following.

Oh, I know. It just seems odd. Sure, back in the heyday there were a number of popular Wild West adventure games, but it just strikes me as odd that so many of the new and remade games that have been worked on recently are also Wild West.

The AGDs talked about a Western title even long before KQ1VGA. I always thought they were silly, but I guess it's only because I'm not a big fan of Westerns.

But FPharkas was interesting, so ... we'll see what they can cook up. :)

I think a western setting tends to make for a fun, interesting and stylish game/movie etc

Plus with Western theme'd stuff its easy to know what kind of stuff you can have etc as there is so much media to draw inspiration from.
