AGDIs remake of course! And don't tell us there there is none. We know you're hiding it from us. Confess that there is a remake and we drop all charges. :p

We at AncientFrogGames have decided to make a remake of KQ3!

Wow, seriously Infamous Adventure's version of King's Quest 3 rocks. I goto the Infamous Adventure's private forums alot to see the development, and you bet Infamous Adventure's is doing a great job on it. Can't wait to see what Infamous Adventure's comes up with in the end, of course it'll be another Infamous Adventure's classic!

Go Infamous Adventure's!

I was a bit torn on how to approach that one. It crosses the SPAM-line, even for a regular. Then again, changing the links in your post to that generic SPAM-picture would make it unproductive. Better to keep it useful.

Just to even things up, let me give my impressions of the other, better ;), remake of Kings Quest III by Radiant. Most everyone has seen the excellent work he's done on updating the story line to flesh it out and improve the puzzles. I can assure you that since the development moved to a private forum, Radiant has still been hard at work developing the game. Plus, with the kind work of contributing artists, it'll eventually be in complete VGA as well.

If you liked the improvements of KQ2+ over KQ2, you're going to love KQ3+. :D

Does KQ3 really need a + though? I'll admit that I havnt played KQ3 much but AGDI only did a KQ2+ because the story was crap, arent people just jumping on + thing as they think it will make their remake better, when a 1:1 remake would do nicely.

Plus I'm sure AGDI have said that if they ever did a KQ3 remake they would just do a 1:1.

IIRC, AGDI said if they did a KQ3 remake, it would have some added stuff. But not to the same extent as KQ2:RTS.

Yeah, well, as for me -

I like Radiant's ideas and implementation of KQ3+ plus stuff; he's done a great job at putting it in, and such. It's well done.

However, when it came to doing our remake, we decided that the story REALLY didn't NEED any adding to, besides maybe some cut-scenes to give it a little more depth - but there are no puzzle changes, or plot alterations.

It's good to have an option, though, and I'm glad a hardworking guy like Radiant is doing it. Believe me, he works his butt off.

One of the things I hatest most about the original game was the short time frimes you had to go down into the valley to get all the ingredients and cast the spells. You ended up having to restart the game multiple times until you'd figured out how to get everything, get rid of Manannan, and get on the ship in time.
