Luke Farmer is now your 2500th member! Doesn't it feel good to know how much support you have when IA has 97 members and other forums don't come closer at all? You'll always have Fans AGDI!

You can't really compare a group who hasn't released any projects yet with a group who has. It's not a fair comparison.

Still, thanks. I've noticed it myself. It's not an unimpressive number, even though there's probably a few doubles here and there.

It's true that our member base continues to grow. We aren't in competition with anyone else though, so that's not really a fair thing to say.

Heh. :) Yeah. Also, many other forums don't require you to register.

True, but usually boards that do require you to register dont usually let you read the forums.

Here you can simply view even if your not registered  ;)

Perhaps. But still... only 1747 made a post after registering.

That's 2500-1747=753 visitors who didn't make a single post.

And the number of visitors who made 1 post in total: 1747 - 1154 = 593

369 visitors who made 10 posts or more. That's the number to be proud of.

But didn't you forget to subtract the 200 'I'm drunken'-, 'Help me, SIS wants to kill me!'- and 'The dauther of my neighbour got a baby!'-posters?  ;)

There's a flaw in your reasoning, Gron. Due to the latest pruning operation, the post count of any member whose latest post was made more than a year ago has dropped back to 0. The number used to be a lot higher.

Then, why not raise their post count to 50 posts? It will save you a lot of embarrassment, such as this.

:cry Yeah I thought you'd bring that up! I've lost about 600 posts with that.

But considering that only 360-something had more than 10 posts in the last 5 years, I don't think there would have been more than 70. I'd say less, because there hasn't been a release.

I'm not bashing. Just saying that visitors had to register to ask one question and then dissapear. :)

And hey! There are a lot of us out there who register with the full intent of actually contributing, but then just get lazy and content themselves with just reading. I mean, look at me? It took a post talking about one-time posters to actually get me to post at all!  :lol  But statistically speaking, it doesn't look to good for me now that I'm at the critical one-post juncture ... huh ... well ... nice knowin' y'all! It has been swell.  ;)

Haha, yeah same here alwazqestion, I just read and read to my heart's content, hardly ever post. I'm sure there are a whole bunch of other members that fall in this category.

EDIT: I mean heck, 6 posts? Kinda pathetic, specially considering I visit this page almost every day
:lol

Then there's the Massassi Temple forums which have 10,805, most of them active. forums.massassi.net

Though I am a huge fan of AGD and can't wait for QFG2VGA. Good Work.
