Hello, fellow Bulgarian...
That has got to be the most FAQ ever asked...
Hence, its answer can be found on the FAQ page.
"The game will come out when it is ready." is the most frequent response.

In the meantime, hang around in the forums and you might learn about other very exciting projects that are being developed.

Well, personally, I'm not the type of person who asked that kind of stuff. Becuase I hate asking questions to the people who found a way to remake a game. I can't stand hearing, "we can't tell you! We're professional, everyone loves, we're Roberta Williams and Ken Williams! BLAH!" Umm...no offense to any game makers here....Uh-oh! Time to live town again! Bulgarians. Fascinating culture.

Hmmm... well. Mid 2005 is getting close. Let's wait and see what happens.

The betatests hasn't begun yet. That will probably take at least 2-3 months. So if that will begin soon the earliest release will be in July-August. My guess would be before the end of the year :)

Hmmm... perhaps. But perhaps the beta-testers have been chosen a while ago, and they've been busy for months now.

...

Nah. I doubt it. They've never lied or kept anything secret from us before.  :p

I don't think beta-testing has started yet. Just my thoughts though.

It most likely has, Im sure they wont code the entire game and not test it at all until every little bit is progrmmed. I would think they do sections at a time IMHO.

Wow, there is actually someone who seems to know something about our culture...
Normally we're not even mentioned in Trivial Pursuit... :p

<pops head up out of nowhere>

Had a feeling QFG2VGA wasn't ready yet. Then again, working on a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere with no net access (well, there is a net kiosk there, but it's been stuffed since I got there) has made the time go by and the wait more bearable.

I'm in a nearby town, for those of you wondering, and checking the forums on a public internet kiosk. Will be in Kalgoorlie tomorrow, so I'll be able to check through everything without being so rushed (getting a cracked windscreen replaced and a punctured tire repaired (bloody roadkill corpses!)).

<ducks head back down>

As a programmer myself, I can tell you that you impliment something then you load it up to see if it works. You might even throw it around the team to see if others find any major glitches. You'd be surprised what you can miss yourself having such intimate knowledge of the game.

But as for extensive beta-testing, where an outside the team group tests for bugs, I don't think AGDI have started that yet. I could be wrong, but that's my belief. Maybe AGD2 or Erpy can answer that question though.

Another screenshot? I think they're released enough. If you want to see more goto Fanventures.com, Fangames and click on QFG2VGA to see most of the screenshots they've released if you want more goodies.

If you go into your profile, you can view the QFG2VGA Avatar Gallery. These are actual in-game dialouge portraits (minus the animation, of course).

It wouuld be really awesome if phase I of Beta Testing began July-Aug of 2005.  If I remember correctly, the QFG2VGA Beta testing will be in 2-3 phases of development, to allow fresh blood to review the game and look for errors.  This way when a team tires and has less input the next can carry it off.

Eitherway, I think it would be great.  Alot of us aren't testing, but it would be a great step forward to show that "yeah, we are getting close, cuz betatesting has begun."

All I can say is, it should be nearing completion. The project has been around ever since 2001 and was resumed in ernist ever since the second half of 2003 (I think, anyway). It shouldn't take too long, and I have really little doubt that it WILL be done before summer's out this time... or until the end of september, anyway.

They're in the final stages, right before the beta release. We've all waited years for this and I'm sure we can wait just a little longer. Hold on to your hats for the big release! :)

Till next time stay cool  :smokin
