Re:
I think so... But AoE1 is still a great deal of fun to play.Quest For Glory Fan wrote:Was I the only person ever who liked AoE 1 more than 2?
AoE3 is looking awesome!
I play 'only' PC games, so I invested on a good system, only when I can afford a Xbox, not to mention the price of the games. :p
AoE 1 was amazingly fun, AoE 2 was such a loooong game but worth while, Age of Mythology was extremely short, and the ending is very dissapointing, it had fab graphics though, and what I love about AoE the most is the Map Makers! :D

well it would definately run on the dual opteron64bit machine, definately on the dual xeon and even though the dual amd 2600+mp machine has been giving trouble recently it should run on that. only problem is i never let any software onto those except for work stuff so id have to try it on my old internet computer which is only a p3 450 with 256mb ram. i think AoE3 would kill this machine hehe

Well their creators seem to think other wise, if you havent noticed Expansions arent the same thing as the original game, their ment to BE different. Not to mention sequels usually are improved engines, graphics, and gameplay.Frode wrote:I reckon it's more of a sequal. It's completely different to the original.
