i vote to lose the cape, I always hated that part of the QG1 remake's costume, and in this instance it kinda makes him look a little more boy wonderish than we'd probably like from the nameless hero we know and love.  also the pants are a bit bright and could probably stand to not be skin tight.  Otherwise looks pretty good.

if he lost the cape than he wouldn't be the hero that we know and remember though. I agree that the pants don't have to be skin tight though. Unless that's how they were. The face is very well done but his eyes look kinda psycho

I love the cape.  It's what makes QFG1 - QFG1.  The hero was wearing it because it was freakin' cold.

Nice! Now just make a version without the cape and with Roger's uniform and I'll be a happy camper over here! :)

It's not bad, but you need to darken the hair a little.

Also his shirt and pants weren't skin tight, unlike in the original version.

well I meant the quest for glory hero as in the whole series not just qfg1, (the initial post doesn't specify).  Keep the cape or don't, but if you do I would at least suggest some folds or something to make it seem more cloth-like.

it is kinda strange that you can see his crotch through the leather armor thing.

I like him.  My suggestion would be to make the arms more silvered, for chain mail.  Otherwise his shirt is clashing with his pants, that's no good. :)

I actually preferred the blue cape from HQ1. (or was it gray??)

Hmmm... don't know how you've managed it with a 3D model, but the legs are a bit long. Nice attempt! :)

Guys, I say we keep the cape. It isn't just a fashion statement but it also serves a practical application.

You see, travelers in the old days almost always wore a cloak or some sort of 'overall' to help protect them from the elements (as well as to help make bedding easier) so it would make sense that he would wear something of that sort on his long journey towards Spielburg (remember, the poor fellow spent nearly a month on the way there!).

My own guess as to why he wore a cape and not a full cloak (technically a cape is a sort of 'half cloak') could have more to do with showing himself to be a hero, or it could just allow for more menuverablity in combat (there's less cloth standing in your way to impede your moves).

Till next time stay cool  :smokin
