I just bought the set of King's Quest games and the later ones ask for a word from the manual. The game did not come with one. The start up screen shows there is one but when I click on it, it tells me there is no association to open it. So what do I do?

The manual is plain html. Your browser should be enough to open it. If the menu button won't work, you can still go to the manual folder in the game folder and open it manually. (pun not intended)

Thank you... that works. Never thought of that. It opens in Adobe.

It's a "no go". I can open the manual but I can't get into the 4th game. I put in the word they ask for and it just isn't working.
could the pages be different?

Oh wait, right. You're asking about the King's Quest collection, rather than our KQ games.
Sorry, I misunderstood.

Have you tried just hitting enter? It works for cracked copies of games, but I don't know if Vivendi decided to do something similar with the new collections. I doubt they would, but it's worth a shot. :\
