Anyone here a fan of John Frusciante?

For those who don't know, he is the guitarist in the Red Hot Chili Peppers (which are a brilliant band) but alot of people also don't know that he has a huge amount of solo stuff aswell like his recent 6 albums in 6 months project.

I've only listened to Shadows Collide with People and Curtains, but I have to say, its some of the best music I've ever heard!

So any fans here or Chili's fans that didnt know he did solo stuff?

I love John Frusciante. As a guitarist, I think he does amazing things with minimalist chord structures and basic scales of guitar. His playing is, in a word, beautiful.

Yea QFGF, alot of even Chili fans never knew he did solo music, a friend who introduced me to the Chili's then introduced me to his solo work.

Listen the albums mentioned in my first post, they can take awhile to get into but you'll love them so much after that.

Hey Steffi nice to see you out and about lol. Yea Past Recedes is amazing!! My fave songs from Curtains have to be Past Recedes, Lever Pulled and Leap Your Bar, I love the others but they are the 3 stand out ones for me.

Shadows, my fave's are Carvel (fave song ever, its what got me into him), Omission, Regret, Every Person, Wednesday's Song, Song to Sing When I'm Lonely, Cut Out and The Slaughter lol that is pretty much the whole album nearly but they all are so amazing!!

So Steff, what album would you recommend next for me? I was thinking maybe Will to Death or A Sphere in the Heart of Silence?
