A new title from Chris Jones...

#1 Post by Brainiac » Thu Aug 21, 2008 11:09 pm

...and I don't mean the AGS creator.

That's right everyone, Tex Murphy's creators are back. Unfortunately, Aaron Conners and Chris Jones won't be making a new Tex game...yet. Three Cards to Midnight is a completely new IP coming from a self-funded team including several other Tex Murphy mainstays. And Conners even says, “If we can generate enough income off this game, we will definitely go back to doing a sequel to Tex Murphy.” So think of this the same way as Al Emmo - buy it just to support the series you love if nothing else!

The official website is Big Finish Games and it unfortunately isn't live yet. Stay tuned for more!

Anybody checked the main page for Big Finish Games recently? It now lists a Secret Project "Fedora" in pre-production. Hmmmmm.

The game is out. It's also been reviewed by both Just Adventure and Adventure Gamers. Big Finish now has a sequel listed for Q4 2009 (3 Cards to Dead Time) alongside Secret Project "Fedora" and if the adventure community reacts strongly enough, they're considering a box edition.
