Quest for Glory 5

#1 Post by Goilveig » Sun Sep 07, 2008 2:04 am

I'm not just imagining it having two CDs, right?

I hate to think I've been tearing my apartment apart looking for CD 2/2 when it doesn't exist.

You are correct. A green install data CD and a red game data CD.

Damn. Back to ripping up the apartment.

Well, on the plus side I found the original pre-T2A Ultima Online, Dungeon Siege (which I forgot ever owning) and all my old Wing Commander games.

Edit: Ah, found it.

Both of my discs have a black label, though

Do they at least have similar artwork?

They do, except where yours are definately green and red, mine are both the same shade of goldish.

Interesting. You should ask at a few of the Sierra fansites specializing in collections of vintage stuff if you have a special edition or something.

I believe I have the standard European version, the one in the big cardboard box, with a 2 CD jewel case and large booklet. This is how the game first appeared on the shelves here. I'm looking at the CDs now in false light, it may be greenish instead of goldish in daylight, but it definately seems goldish right now. Anywhose, it's still different since both discs are the same colour.

Huh. I guess the European release had different coloration.
