I remember getting through this by playing around with the compatibility settings (I.E, changing from WIN95 to 2000, etc). Good luck getting through this part :)

I haven't played this game, but I read somewhere on this board that you can try to skip the cutscene, but I don't remember how. Do a search to find it.

Sometimes save files get corrupted in this game, and loading the world map or videos will cause the game to crash. Rebooting and/or loading an earlier save may help the video problem. Can you still play the intro video?

Problem - Game Crashes When Playing Intro:
The game locks when playing the Intro or cut scenes.

Solution:
Update to the latest version of QuickTime. from Apple's website, as the version included on the Dragonfire CD is not Windows 2000 [NT/XP/Vista] compatible.

Well, it's been a while, but I remember two of the three solutions I used to use.

1. Install the newest version of Quicktime from the net.

2. If that doesn't work, install the version of Quicktime off the Qfg5 CD.

3. Hopefully someone else remembers this since I have a feeling the third solution was the more likely to succeed...

I just get this

Let's see here...

Looks like you came from viewtopic.php?f=19&t=13061

And if I calculate this correctly, your IP should be Xxxxxxxxx

And if that's correct, that means you were looking for /collector/Games/QuestForGlory/QfG5Help.html over on tawmis.com using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3...

Man. Guess what?

The page doesn't even exist.

Go back to Tawmis.com and try again!
