Take one piece of bread preferably the heel.
Spread ketchup on top.
Use cheese of your choice.
Add what ever toppings you like on pizza.
Microwave 1 minute and wallah you have Ghetto Pizza.

English Muffins with Cheese and Bacon (Yeah the name kinda gives it away)

Set oven to Broil, let heat.
Cut an English muffin in half and put both halves on a cookie sheet.
Place one piece of slice cheese on each.
Take two pieces of cooked/semi-cooked bacon and place on top of cheese (cut in half if necessary) .
Place under broiler for approximately five minutes or until cheese is black around edges.
(Watch carefully, these are easy to burn)
Take out, let cool and enjoy the delicious combination of cheese and bacon!

Sorry, but are these supposed to be cooking guide raps? I say that because I don't understand what makes Ghetto Pizza so different, just sounds like a microwavable margarita pizza.

Well, if we're on the subject. One of my favorite snacks are pizza crumpets.

Not much to it, just toast the crumpets on a medium setting.
Spread tomato puree all over the toasted crumpets.
Grate some cheese and sprinkle over.
Add some toppings such as tomatos, pepperoni, whatever.
Grill for 4 minutes.
EAT.

Crumpets... I've heard the word, but have not idea what they are. I know it is British food though...

I occasionally have crumpets with tea, as I'm very British. They go great with marmite, too!

They have them here in Canada as well. They're delicious when toasted and buttered! Sometimes with melted cheese, too.

If you want a really cheap, easy, and delicious meal to get you through college you can't beat a good old fashioned grilled cheese sandwich. You just take two slices of bread; white, wheat, sourdough, rye, it doesn't matter, Butter them both on one side, place any kind of cheese in the middle of them and cook the sandwich in a pan with the butter side facing out. Be sure to flip it over once one side has gotten nice and brown.

I myself love a thick slice of pepperjack cheese on sourdough bread. It tastes awesome and is very easy to make. A great meal to get you through your starving student years.

Well I never expected this thread to become so popular I meant to make it more of a weird but good recipe thread like Deli Oreo cookies.

Take an a plain Oreo untwist it
put a slice of pepperoni
and slice of cheese
and put it in the Oreo

Seriously I've tried it
Talk about some good eaten ;)

two pieces of white bread and two pieces of cheese. Make a grill cheese out of them but butter the outsides of the bread. Stick it in the toaster as one sandwich if your toaster is wide enough and you'll end up with a perfect grill cheese. If you don't understand because I'm drunk right now watch the intro to Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo. It's the same recipe

When we were in college, a buddy of mine had an even lazier way to make grilled cheese (aside from the normal "butter two pieces of bread..." way):

1. Toast two pieces of bread.
2. Place a piece of cheese between the two pieces of toast.
3. Microwave to melt the cheese.

I guess he never got point of 'grilled' in a grilled cheese sandwich, but for him, at least it was quick and relatively effortless... as long as you had a microwave. :\

I'm a Kraft Dinner fiend (Known as EasyMac in some places, in Canada they're separate products) But some people don't know the subtle differences in preparation that make all the difference because they're not on the box and I'm constantly surprised by those who don't. You must add a little bit of milk and/or a teaspoon of butter. It just makes the E-quality meal that much easier to get through. Some people also add ketchup after and even fewer people use pepper to top it. Still I'm surprised by how many people just boil water put in noodles and stir the cheese in after straining. It's the secret recipe everyone should know. It's like basil in pasta sauce.

People don't add milk or butter to Kraft dinner? Okay, ew!
Another easy one, though it might require a bit more shopping.

Boil water.
Reduce heat and add the Noodles from Mr. Noodles to the water.
Heat up a frying pan, throw in some hamburger.
Cook until cooked (:P), then add some cheap frozen veggies and the now soft noodles into the pan.
Add the flavor from the package into pan and stir well.
Serve!

It's a great way to get a few veggies into your quick and easy supper. Also works with normal noodles and OXO (bullion) packets.

@KD remark: I Know! I was so shocked to find a lot of people at uni not doing it/not knowing.

I always used to do that Mister Noodles recipe but I found that when I'm stuffed up or have a cold that just noodles and veggies in a cup is the best thing. You can also split a package into 2 servings pretty easily if you do it "Soup style" and can be done in the microwave.

Oh I never thought of that! They would make good little soup servings wouldn't they? I'm going to have to do that next time I run out of canned soup.

For anyone wondering, the nutritional value of my recipes are pretty much non-existent. When I start saying things like 'good way to get some veggies' or some such, it's the equivalent of saying drinking flavoured rum in fruit juice is a great source of vitamin C.

Wouldn't that get melted cheese all in your toaster?

never happened to me. Sometimes crumbs will get cheezy but if your toaster has one of those crumb trays it's not a problem.
