Where is everyone

#1 Post by seraphimdreamer777 » Mon Jun 01, 2009 3:37 am

Is it just me or is everyone posting more on IA forums now?

I mean every post here by anyone is getting less responses than the same posts on IA.
I guess it's just the way things go though being AGDI is done making remakes and IA is still making about 3 or was it 4. Well I was never good with change much anyways but I better get use to it. Besides most of y'all have IA accounts anyways.

There's only about a dozen people who post on both forums. I personally find I just don't have the time to post everywhere I used to, that's why I don't drop around here too much. In my opinion AGDI / Tierra have always been more frequented forums, they tend to have a much more inclusive policy than IA. We tend to be immature legends.

Yea I know what you mean, don't forget the forums have been going for nearly 10 years. Back in the day Erpy had to impose a posting limit on a few members, myself and Vildern included lol as we were posting nearly 100+ posts per DAY!

Well, the last month or so I have spent time in Llewdor, Tamir, and the Capitol Wasteland. I got back a few days ago, then headed out to the Attican Traverse, where communication is sometimes spotty.

I've been adventuring the lands of Tamriel and Daggerfall myself. Particularly Cyrodiil and the Vvardenfell island district of Morrowind. But also Hammerfell and the other neighbouring provinces.

I try to post on each forum evenly, recently though I've been playing the Strong bad game and tons of WoW so I haven't been to either in a couple weeks.

I still lurk, but just don't have the time I used to. I'm here more often than I post, usually just stop in and have a look around, then off I go.

It's charchar! I remember when you used to try to post pictures in threads straight from your hard drive. Over and over and over again.

Yes well....I've grown up since then. Looking back at it all, while I was annoying as Hell, I find quite amusing how almost everyone faulted me for having the sheer audacity for NOT knowing how to register, post pictures, etc.

Thing was...I was young and I didn't know any better. You try being 11 years old and coming to a message board for the very first time in your life and feeling so meek and puny. I felt like everyone was sitting on some lofty perch looking down their sanctimonious noses at me because I was young and naive and they were bad-azz computer whizzes. I became angered, paranoid, and a complete TROLL in this forum. Not trying to place the blame on all of you, just saying....that is how I felt.

Whoo, glad to get that off my chest. Sorry for the rant and making this whole thread about myself, I guess things don't change all that much now do they?

Heh. You go, man. You did all right, anyway, for an 11 year old. Yeah, sometimes we could be cranky (I, however, never suffered from THAT!) but hey - you ended up making some art for a game, didn't ya?

Well, some people are just sanctimonious assholes. I wouldn't worry about it. Although as an 11 year old, you probably would have.

As BT said, you actually contributed to a game, something a LOT of people, even those who post here, can't say they've ever done. So you're actually in the top percentage of people in this weird little community.

That was harsher sounding than I meant it to be! Oh well, the curse of forums I suppose.

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular, just the general type of people we've all seen come and go over the years. The ones who bitch and moan about, well everything, and don't actually contribute to, well anything.

Yo Vil!! Those were the days lol! We need to hook up for a chat man!

Yea it was pretty funny how you were back then FG, just look how you've matured! Not many can say they've grown up on a forum!

I just hope we all pop back here in another 10 years time lol!

We should make a pact, if any of us ever win the lottery we should fly everyone out to Vegas for an AGDI meeting lol!
