O.K. I guess I'm the first one to post this for this year. But I noticed him on the birthday list and didn't see any threads made yet so Happy Birthday Erpy. Could have sworn it was just recently you had one but congrats on another year lived. Been cool knowin you last few years though I only know you through a computer screen and the many faces of Nash from Lunar. But anyways you help people out on here when you can so have many more great years.

Some things here never changed even thou I have not ben here for a very long time since I last visited this site.

Happy Birthdays threads are still here and the games news are also here , gossips about computer games too and of course the old guest members are still messing up this place with lots of humours hehe. I kind of miss that forum site.

I always have difficulty figuring out original things to say to people each subsequent birthday, so I usually just copy the pre-written blurbs out of Hallmark cards and rewrite them on different cards in my own handwriting, shamelessly taking credit for the sappy poetry in the process.

However, this time I actually wracked my brain to create an original poem for the occasion. Here it is:

Happy birthday to Stijn,
Happy birthday to Stijn,
We all know him as "Erpy"
And he's turned twenty-nine.

Thanks guys. Today was pretty tiring, even though I kept the visitors limited to a small social circle. So yeah, one more year on the tally. Geez, when I joined these boards in 2001, I didn't expect I'd be posting in this kind of topic at some point in the future.

Brit, it probably wasn't really hectic by most people's standards. (including yours) This was the first time I had a birthday in my new appartment though, which didn't have as much room as my family's home. I spread out visitors so things wouldn't get too crowded, but that also resulted in there being few moments where there wasn't anybody else around. We ended up having dinner at my mom's home so my mom, my two sisters and their boyfriends and I could all eat dinner at a table, rather than a few having to sit on the couch with their food on a tray.
