Heroine's Quest is still far away from completion, since teaming up with Radiant and Crystal Shard however, it's coming a lot faster! http://crystalshard.net/hq.htm

On this topic, I can't wait for this mystery game to be released!

The Doctor Who game will feature Matt Smith's Doctor and companion Amy.

But MI is not from the US and I'm sure the game will be downloaded by people from all over the world, so I think that a release date made to coincide with American Independence is unlikely.

...In the sense that it was a magical "Macintosh" computer able to upload the virus to the mothership computer system.

Evidently, PC Clones are unable to interface with alien technologies like Apples can, and thus the world would have been condemned to utter destruction had a PC been Jeff Goldblum's computational system of choice. :rollin

I think he means that the aliens were running Windows....hence the virus being their downfall.

Were you kidding or is this true? If so congrats, can you let us know what project or is it undercover?

Yes, it's true. I can't say any more about it at the moment. Maybe later. Still processing some red tape. It's all but official right now otherwise, though. I don't think it's going to be a secret project per se. Not like this one, anyway. But I don't want to say anything until I'm officially a member of the team at least.

I guess I can tell you all what this is now. I've just been brought on board to score Himalaya Studios' next big game! I'm pretty excited.

Though, this is not the game this thread is referring to. Don't be mistaken.

Usually, musicians are only required at the end stage of development, so this means we could see a new Himalayastudios game soon. :D

Maybe in a high budget commercial game, but in these online development groups, the whole process from beginning to end is very organic and constantly being worked on as people's schedules permit. Over at IA we have music development going right along with everything else--the background art, spriting, story/puzzle development, etc. I can't imagine finishing everything else and then being like, "okay, now it's time to do the music." :) That said, I have no idea how Himalaya works, given that they're technically a commercial group. I had been under the impression that they came together and did most of their work collaboratively online like AGDI though.
